I wear a Mycro. It does the job. When i was a kid had one of those bucket ones and a Scandia - fake cooper - which were both rubbish. Just make sure it fits tight.

No slayer, but he did let me hold it once and i was surprised how heavy it was. He reckons he plays with this helmet all the time and he even lets others play with it sometimes as long as they promise to be gentle and careful not to damage it

You're taking the mickey surely?

I had a cooper for years, but no face guard. Always imagine a face guard would have restricted my vision, and I already let in enough soft goals.

I know its straying from the issue but will the new compulsory helmet rule hinder keepers? I mean all of the top level goalies don't wear one so they obviously wouldnt be in favour of them at all. Ryan's JCB hat is about the nearest thing to a helmet i've seen. Keepers aren't exempt from the rule are they/should they be?

As a goalie mycros are good coz the 2 big holes in the faceguard. But I heard coopers are good as well.Do they hurt your head because of their shape.Quite pricey as well
