All-Star Hurleys (Conn O'Sullivan - son of a Corkman) out in Portmarnock (Naomh Mearnog), he and father make lovely custom-sized grained Hurleys, especially for Juveniles, really light, banded, robust with a heavy bas lovely strike. Can take some punishment and keenly priiced. I'd be an advocate of Cultec's but these hurleys are really good. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4897 - 12/05/2011 18:12:48 929458 Link 0 |

McAuliffe's in Charleville have excellent hurleys. You really need to test out a hurley before buying them. I wouldn't recommend buying online. If you are heading to a match in Thurles, Cork, Limerick or Kilkenny I'd say you should try and visit a hurley maker on your way. The_Bull (Cork) - Posts: 248 - 30/05/2014 13:35:50 1595632 Link 0 |

For me Torpey's are far ahead of most other makers, IMO their consistency of quality and customer service is tops. Bon (Kildare) - Posts: 1911 - 31/05/2014 10:27:00 1595909 Link 0 |
