153286 Chester 1970 Did you read my advice ?

Ironic Tom that i am actually a teacher, who spent many years working in the Special Educatonal Needs environment, both in a mainstream and a Specialist school/service setting. I would like to know what professional qualifications you have obtained which allow you to make a dignosis on any particular poster on this site i.e. 'id--t' or 'Person of unsound mind'. And i do find the term 'Slow learning' particularly offensive. A term like that has not been used since the 70s and 80s. Do you live in a glass house Tom? Maybe you should not throw stones!!!!!!

149427 sheepshooter ur some fool, john o shea is from waterford, shay given is from donegal, dunne and keane are both from tallaght, mcshane is from wicklow, doyle is from wexford, the 2 hunts are from laois and whelen is from dublin. none of those lads are playing under the granny rule and even darron gibson is a bit of a grey area.

Slash if your going to call someone a fool please take the time to check your own stupidity.. the 2 Hunt brothers are from Waterford and not Laois Also they were 2 very good club hurlers :)

DHorse says
WHAT ARE PEOPLES OPINIONS OF SLAUGHTERING TURKIES WITH A BELT OF A "HURL" TO THE HEAD, OR MIGHT HANGING FROM THE CROSSBAR BE MORE HUMANE,

Chesters 1970 Response was
Brilliant dhorse....is this only for turkeys (seasonal for Xmas) or would it work for a duck or a goose as well...or even a pig!!

Well Chester 1970 from Armagh North of Ireland,it says a lot for the education process in North of Ireland that you applaud DHorses remarks about slaughtering Turkeys with a Hurl.
You go further and ask is it ok for other poultry/fowl.
I have to remind you that Hoganstand is a world wide web and as such it is available for viewing all over the world.
Perhaps people on the mainland would not be as sympathetic to you as I was , and point out to you that you were totally out of order in your coomments .
Indeed the standard of tutition available to Children in North of Ireland schools( if one is to go by your ramblings0 would appear to be low.

Tom my friend i merely asked peoples opinions, i made no comment, the hurl was included to keep the GAA connection, as for your comments on peoples learning ability i think other people have dealt with that, judging by your emails you obviously have more experience of remedial teaching than i do, but i am always willing to learn from someone who knows better. Got a delicious coconut in wiclow town today for E2, great value,

Tom, i have to tell you that i live in County Clare and teach in Limerick City, once again you have let your fingers do the talking before engaging your brain, or indeed knowing all the facts. It's the old chestnut, if you don't like it you know what to do. I may not like some things here but i will listen to reasoned argument on any topic. Comedy and humour my friend (and sarcasm) are also, i'm sure, very welcome on this site. As for the Gaa down here it's ok (wouldnt want you to think this message was not about the Gaa.......

Tom maybe you should take a leaf out of the Cork hurlers book and go on strike. Maybe you can get a group of like minded individuals and you can lead them round the metaphorical field with your gems of wisdom....

Tom Smith says I was only referring to the above ramblings from Chester 1970 from Armagh who informed me that he was a School Teacher.
What do you think about the above ramblings from a Teacher?.

But lets get back to the substantive issue and that is should non GAA posts be tolerated by Lynn promotions to allow other sports a forum to spout off about Kevin Ireland etc who will not play for a English B team in Ireland colours.

Tomsmith you never answered either of my questions.

What do you do for a living?

Why is the state of Edcuation in Northern Ireland so bad?

Pure jibberish again Tom:
-who is kevin Ireland?
-to allow other sports a forum....no comment
-who will not play for a English B team in Ireland colours.....terrible attempt at english and what exactly are you trying to say?
-Lynn promotions ....who or what is this?

And just a note...you did insult the education system in northern ireland and in clare and limerick by your comments without reference to the slaughtering turkeys JOKE.

AND...Just so you realise, Tom, because I'm surprised that your massively educated intellect did'nt pick up on it, people have been putting up random posts e.g. slaughtering turkeys, as a sarcastic take on the title of the thread and your non-sesnicle ramblings! clear enough for you?
