Replying To ElGranSenor:  "Some criminal game-management there at the end, they had created one goal chance in the entire 70 minutes and all we had to do was sell out against not conceding a goal

Could have just dropped Damien Reck as a sweeper right in front of the square and asked him to make sure no-one won clean possession but we didn't do that"
Spot on , very naive towards the end. Shut up shop and it's game over

Not too many positives to take from a draw. If chin or Rory get injured we are in serious trouble.

5 up at 70 mins. Criminal to only get a draw from there.

I thought we were too late with some substitutions. Rory and Foley out on their feet for a while before they were taken off.

Anyway looking forward to trip to Belfast next weekend.

This could all come down to score difference at the end.

You just know that meme from succession where logan Roy says "I love you, but you are not serious people!"

Pretty much sums up how I feel about wexford hurling these days.

Now how long before someone blames the supporters for not being loud enough and someone else blames Ray Harris?

God that was disappointing. Memories of the Westmeath game all over again. Good to see Rory back and looking like he was never away. Chin was awesome. Kevin and Mogie were quiet enough. Dunbar and Dooley really improved as the game went on. Not sure 2hy Mac didn't pull on the ball on the ground. His point shortly after was excellent, vintage Mac. Looking forward to the trip North next weekend. With Ryan due back in a couple of weeks I'm still optimistic. Obviously one game at a time though.

I would never apply that meme to people putting their lives on hold to represent their county, I'd reserve it for the people who still want a September All Ireland but can't come up with a suggestion that doesn't screw over club players.

Great to see ROC back and I was suprised he was included from the start considering he got no league action, but by god we needed him and Chin. Without them we could be in serious bother. Was a scrappy game, Dublin playing short ball most the time, probably edged us physically but the class of the two boys kept them at bay, they never looked like getting near a goal, then boom two in 2 minutes. Sickened.

That feels a 1000 times worse than the 21 metre free in 2019 that went by everyone…

Where was that diagonal ball that served us and especially Seamus Casey so well in the league. Bad game management is right

I am not sure what will torment me the longest, the half time entertainment or conceding two goals in 90 secs in injury time.

We only had 5 of the starting 15 score. Dublin had 9. Tells its own story.

At least the sun was shining and it was quiet warm in the park for once.

Only one story to tell, it was a draw

Fanning did k, I taught s reck, hanlon and murphy were solid, half back line poor, (C Foley the best of them).k foley really poor, hearne was ok.Chin and rory(considering he was out for so long) were excellent. The rest of the forward hardly touch the ball. Byrne and mac added something. It was a ver average performance from us today and we went away for the way we played in the league. Really worried about how we keep conceding the same type of goals. Poor day at the office all in all and the trip to Antrim would make me very nervous. Win over them no more injuries and hopefully get the injured lads back and we can still have a right cut of Galway. Bit sick to the bottom of my stomach after throwing away that game

High ball into the square was our undoing last year against Westmeath…same v cork in the league and then again today. It was so important to win today and have the head to head advantage over Dublin. Chin and Rory were outstanding…same with Matt ohanlon (need to see the goals again to see if he could have done better defending them). Missed 2 great goal chances
Same old problems there with our puck outs and I actually feel sorry for mark fanning with lack of options available to him. Honestly don't think there's a goalkeeper in the country who would do any better.
Just sick. That game had to be shut down. Management need to have a good look at themselves for that. I remember chin was brought back to defend the goal in the '19 Leinster final. Same should've been done today.

We could obviously be in a better position than where we are now but there's a still a lot of hurling to be played yet in Leinster. We have a poor record in Belfast and you get the sense that they will have targeted this game from a long way out although Kilkenny seem to hop off them and we can live with Kilkenny so why can't we do the same to Antrim? They've also had a poor league and were annihilated today, hard to turn around and put in a big performance six days later IMO. Regardless, I think we have a habit of playing to the level of the opposition and that could put us in big trouble next Saturday.

Score difference could obviously be big in this group and Dublin have Antrim at home but I'd like to think we've a better chance of getting points out of Galway at home and Kilkenny away than Dublin do against Kilkenny at home and Galway away. From reading other message boards, you get the sense that this was nearly Dublin's biggest game of the year but then again, opposition fans would say we do the same with Kilkenny whereas Kilkenny's biggest game is an All-Ireland Semi-Final or Final rather than a game against us.

My hope is that the players use the anger/frustration/pain/disappointment from this game and channel it into the Antrim game next week, there's no point in us feeling sorry for ourselves, what's done is done and we need to move on and focus on getting the win next week

Throughout the league, we were missing key players like Rory and Lee and were still able to put up a fight in most games in attack (Like the Waterford game). Today, Rory and Lee both did a huge amount of damage from open play yet we lacked little in the way of firepower from anyone outside of those two. That's probably the biggest disappointment from today for me because you could on one hand question where would we be without the two of them and then on the other hand wonder how good we could be if the supporting cast had've performed like they did in the league.

I suppose another way of looking at it is that we have two marquee forwards and Dublin have one; the fact that Burke did pretty much nothing from play and Rory and Lee scored 0-07 from play between them and we didn't win is a big blow. This is a Dublin forward line that lacks punch in attack but then again, take out ROC and Lee and you could say much the same about us.

Another issue is that before they hit us for the two goals, they created one goal chance in the entire game; an Eoin O'Donnell run through our middle that ended up in a shot blazed over the bar. We on the other hand created four goal chances yet were only able to score from the penalty. I didn't think this Dublin team was blessed with pace and I felt like we were able to cause them problems when we ran at them, the problem there being that we didn't run at them enough
