Hi Tom.
I'm sure the Limerick County board will consider your suggestion, especially after Clare so graciously offered us a home final.
Maybe we should just award Clare an extra 2 points for their trouble and give them the victory altogether.
Would that be sporting enough for you?

Skillet from County Limerick

Naw Naw no two points, it woul appear to the Sunday Game pannelists that a severe injustice was done to County Clare in the final moments of this hetic encounter.
I say to Limerick GAA be big enough and offer Clare a replay,
Justice to be seen to be denied is bad justice

What do ye want in Munster? Do you want the ref to let the game flow or blow up when there is a free?
There couldve been 400 frees yesterday but the ref would've been lynched if he played the acutal rules. Clare got a few soft frees too.
100% Clare should've gotten a free at the end but that's the way the Munster Chamipnship is gone... you win some and loose some if you want to play that type of game

Cavan should offer Kerry a replay for the 1947 football final.

It recently emerged that several of the Cavan points were kicked from the elevated part of the Polo Grounds where the pitchers mound was situated.

It is a travesty that this injustice to the Kingdom has persisted for over 75 years.

Clare want an Asterix beside every game they've lost the last 10 years, there's always an excuse, every team gets missed calls or whatever and are well entitled to have a moan over things but every year there's someone out to get them. Well in recent years anyways, back when they were actually winning big games in the 90s, there was no excuses thrown out after losses, even offering the repaly to Offaly when they could've fought against it. Feel like they get too much of a free pass for not winning big games, fair enough it's Limerick but the last five years they haven't won a single final or semi final in that time frame. Surely Lohan and few players must be under a bit of pressure to deliver a decent run in the all Ireland series or getting some silverware. Seen one analyst describe them as th Mayo of Munster hurling. I feel like Clare have to back up the hype eventually, since 2018 they've lost a Munster final to Cork, semi final to Galway, 22 Munster final, 22 all ireland semi final, 23 Munster Munster and throw in some quarter final losses to Cork and it doesn't make for great reading. Clare and Galway have been the two best round Robin teams the last few years and both have 0 trophies to show for it. Two teams who need to deliver soon

A great display by both teams and a thank you to them. As regards the final play and obvious foul wasn't the extra time up before that and the whistle should already be blown. There was no reason to extend extra time as ir was the Clare keeper that hit out the ball while the umpire was waving wide. May be Gordon had already decided to blow the game up irrespective of what happened in that play. I think that is what he will or would say.

Ah now Tom.! Lots of mistakes are made in games and many a game had decisions given or not that could have altered results but it's a fef mistake (, or not). Game over and Limerick won. If it was a hawkeye mistake or a score I could understand but refs are human so make the odd error.

While we're at it, Kilkenny should offer a replay to Galway.

There was a bit of pulling and dragging by Galway defenders in the corner before the ball broke out to Buckley. The referee could have awarded a free.

Play would have developed differently and highly unlikely Kilkenny would have ended up with the winning goal a few seconds later.

Maybe a Leinster/Munster Finals double-header in a new 40,000 Portlaoise stadium next Sunday???? :)

... and should the decisions that went against Limerick also be reviewed or just the Clare one one at the very end :)

Great day, great game and great supporters. I can understand why Clare would feel aggrieved but Limerick will also feel certain decisions during the game did not go their way too. There is still a strong likelihood we could meet again for the big one and this match will be a long distant memory
