Tickets will be easy to get - won't be a sell out

The All Ireland semi final is normally a great occasion from a ticket point of view. Easy to get & you can often change to be in a different part of the ground that suits you more.

Then if your team gets to the final, the nightmare begins.

Do Limerick have a county pass scheme? Best way to ensure that you get a ticket for all the sell out games when people suddenly discover their great interest in "number 8" :-)

For the neutral, the quarter finals and semi finals are usually good occasions. Especially a double header quarter final day in Thurles. Hopefully Dublin will be participants in that this year.

The semi- finals are a great opportunity for clubs to bring all their underage to the games . I would say each of the 8 Armagh clubs will go to one or the other semi - finals .
Easier for us to get to Croke park than Thurles
5 euro a ticket is great value

We do Barney but for a few personal reasons I haven't taken one up yet. In the past I wouldn't have been able to make much use of them. So I guess, no complaints if I don't get them. The worst I ever experienced was 1996 - the night before the game there wasn't a ticket to be got.

That year in the place where I worked, a prominent Munster & Ireland rugby fan was at none of Limerick's games all year and got two tickets for the final as he had contacts. A neighbour of mind had been to every Limerick game all that year and couldn't get a ticket for the final. In February 1997 I met him in Wexford when Limerick were playing there in the NHL. The ticket madness hadn't put him off his love of Limerick.

I don't think the problems of getting final tickets is anything to do with number 8, this has been a problem for a long time.

The semi final is much easier going than the final :-)

I'm no longer a playing or otherwise active club member so don't like asking for tickets that are being looked for by players and mentors. So the county board pass is perfect. It also guarantees free entrance to all county championship games in Parnell. So well worth it,

My reference to "number 8" was to the type of person you mention who invariably gets tickets that ought to go to your other friend. It's just another "event" for them. Dublin is not so bad now with the PP pass and season tickets.

Yeah you'll be fine. 2018 semi final Limerick v Cork had around 70,000 in attendance, with plenty of discount tickets for children available, with no one sitting in a different stand, unlike the All Ireland Final.
Super occcasion, enjoy your day.
