What is the point of this nonsense….. just taking more players away from their clubs … a total waste of time and money

And what are the clubs doing this time of year? Genuine question.

U20 championship is knock out. It guarantees those teams a few extra games before the championship starts.

I would have great hopes for Leitrim this year in this competition. Under the guidance of former senior manager Brena Guckian they will be well prepared and mentally tough, a team made in his own image.

Good luck with it. It's on the long-term wishlist for ourselves too. But not sure how having a player in the U20 squad would affect your fundraising, so still don't know what exactly the Cavan man was complaining about!

I was only answering your question Pikeman! It's only a training area it wont be a full size pitch unfortunately.

Rubbish. Show me any club that's playing league or championship football at this time of the year.

Ah yeah, I realise that you weren't answering for or on behalf of the Cavan man who complained. Still don't know what any clubs might be doing this time of year with the few U20 players they might have on a county squad, and he hasn't been back to tell us. :)

And full size 4G would cost a pretty penny all right. But good luck anyway with whatever you're aiming to do.

Thanks Pikeman. Will hopefully be twice the size of our existing astro. Money allowing......
