That Limerick with a homegrown manager would win an A! senior and also that a Limerickman would manage Galway hurlers!

That Kerry, for all their talent, could only manage the 1 All Ireland all decade & that Dublin became the monkey on their back. What a turnaround.

So you didn't see that your county with 10 times more population and receiving more than 10 times the funding of your nearest rival and playing all yer games at home wouldn't inevitablely start winning all around ye?

You being a propagandist would have loved if there was no social media so all this could have been kept under raps. Brushed under the carpet so to speak but there you go and more will come out eventually.

Jim Gavin... who'd have known!

Mickey Harte still in charge of Tyrone despite not having added another Sam to the noughties haul.

London playing in a Connacht final.

Meath, having put the Dubs to the sword in 2010, to then fall off a cliff as rivals for the remainder of the decade.

Kerry having real problems finding defenders to match their endless stream of forward talent.

Mayo continuing to have real problems finding reliable forwards to match their endless stream of defensive talent.

Tyrone failing to beat any significant rival outside of Ulster.

The Gooch being forced to defend against his marker,

Cork footballers starting as talented champions but then losing their way for the whole rest of the decade.

That the Kilkenny winning 5 in a row would be from Dublin!

Football was cyclical before the dubs/ money became an issue in this decade.

We were always going to regress this decade after winning 5in the previous 1.

Kilkenny are going through the lull now as are Cork Tyrone Donegal and mayo also.

Dublin won't go through this cyclical lull due to population money and home advantage.

The football championship is bad now but the roaring 20s will finish it off for good.

This isn't meant as a dig, but given their dominance at all levels in the 2000's, Kilkenny not winning an U21/U20 AI in the last decade is not something many people (outside KK at least) would have predicted.

And given the uncompetitive nature of the championship at AI level as the 2000's drew to a close, it would have seemed unlikely that 5 different counties would an AI in the following decade. But here we are.

The GAA organising schedules to suit a British media outlet was a jaw dropper

That we would badly miss Michael Lysters presentation style on Sunday game

Marty Morrissey becoming a household name outside of GAA coverage

The GAA abolishing the equal treatment of counties in football championship and banishing teams into a second tier competition based on another competitions results.

Collapse of the Leinster football championship as a meaningful entity

Laughing stock!! Are you serious..

It really does seem to kill you Kerry lads that you don't saunter to an all Ireland final every year by playing 3 or 4 matches. Bitterness indeed.

Kilkenny utterly dominated hurling between 2004-14, they weren't liked but they were respected..
Respect to Dublin, they're worthy champions"

This is spot on! It's why I have no time for the Kerry supporters i know and the majority of the online boys.
