Mayo by 6+ pulling up in second gear... Pericles (Mayo) - Posts: 2521 - 09/08/2019 13:50:43 2223022 Link 0 |
You could well be right unfortunately, In fairness its terrible treatment of players having just a week break preparing for an All Ireland semi final. For all counties, not just mayo

Agreed. Why couldn't it be next weekend? That still leaves a two week gap to the Final.

The championship needs the team most capable of beating Dublin which are Mayo. Mayo are the only team who can match Dublin with physicality. They also bring a great crowd of fans to every game. I think the championship badly missed them last year.

It's meant to be very wet tomorrow jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20601 - 09/08/2019 16:11:36 2223100 Link 3 |
Yes. The weather changes everything. I think Dublin are the more skillful team but the weather is going to nullify that. Mayo will bring an incredible hunger and physicality to this game. Beginning to worry if i am being honest. avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 1974 - 09/08/2019 17:29:05 2223132 Link 3 |
Well listen you're right to worry. Top team Mayo and they deserve the ultimate respect. If they go onto win tomorrow it'll be a great result for them and hopefully they'll go onto win it all. Hipster is absolutely right about your health and the health of your loved ones. I was sick myself in 2017 and came through that speed bump but when you get that call it really does put things into perspective. Tis only a game of ball and sure let the best team win. Hopefully it's Dublin but Jaysus it's not like we've not been doing well... some amazing memories jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20601 - 09/08/2019 18:29:18 2223150 Link 3 |
I think Mayo will win because of the weather. Forpucksake (UK) - Posts: 130 - 09/08/2019 18:30:11 2223151 Link 3 |
Just waiting on the mayo team...best of luck to the Mayo ladies, minors and seniors tomorrow. And safe traveling to everyone. Don't really know what to except tomorrow, could get hammered, could win by a point or two....weather situation is overplayed. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11236 - 09/08/2019 22:43:13 2223235 Link 8 |
I'm going for a Mayo win tomorrow. I think Mayo have a point to prove to the country and may have learned more about Dublin in losing narrowly to them in recent times then what Dubs have learned about Mayo. Mayo by 2 Douglas_44 (Roscommon) - Posts: 225 - 09/08/2019 23:21:30 2223242 Link 1 |
Haha, that's brilliant.

That is very funny alright, time to see Diarmuid Connolly soon, Dubs will be thanking that official that stopped him going to play for Donegal Boston, Dubs by 4.

Hard to believe that anyone thought Mayo would win this game. Brolly (Monaghan) - Posts: 4472 - 10/08/2019 18:35:59 2223467 Link 1 |

I agree, Mayo are a burst flush, you won't see half of them again.
