To be frank given the artificial advantages bestowed on the Dubs these times - anything short of a 7 or 8 in a row would have to be seen as a failure.

Contribute an opinion and we'll equally critique your own input, or are you only interested in having a go?

It's very easy to be a critic while contributing nothing."
And what exactly do you contribute?

I was talking about Kerry's 15 games wasn't I.... of course I was comparing Dublin's current run versus the last 4 in a row

I'm not changing anything whatsoever.

Merely correcting you because you're wrong. Take from that what you will and sure everyone can make a mistake it's no big deal. No need to apologise or anything.. happy to leave it there.

Please see me mentioning 1970's Kerry team
---
They already took over

Took Kerry 15 games (one 3 game All Ireland)

It took Dublin 28 wins to win 4 and that's still going to form the greatest unbeaten run of all time far surpassing anything Kerry put together.

---

The above post was responded to by thehermit I then responded to him.

I was always talking about the 1970's Kerry team...

It's there in black and white

No 3 game All Ireland for Dublin versus their Kerry 4 in a row counterparts

How on earth it got twisted into this just shows how hard some are trying... and failing. :)

So your barking up the wrong tree jackeen my ould flower.

There's a great rural challenge against all the odds that is deserving of more respect. Some get it. Some do not. English professional women dominating an amateur Six Nations is difficult for some people to comprehend. Zen Buddhism calmness is there for people who can understand it.

When Dublin are on 40 All-Irelands, who has won the most All-Irelands away from the comforts of home advantage? Our rural brethren will challenge us. It'll be a fair challenge.

I wish all supporters a safe trip to Croke Park this weekend."
Happy days indeed , long may it last -:)

He's contributed far more than you on here, so show some respect because you've done diddly squat on here to have such strongly held venom.held

Feel free to contribute and we'll gladly add our own criticisms or is this sort of carry on all you're capable of.. you'll come and go like a fart on the breeze

2 completely different eras.

Kerry won 4 in a row and beat an all time great side (Dublin 78 going first 3 in a row) in the process - hammered them in fact!

The game is obviously faster now and the players are fitter than ever, but in terms of overall quality, this is a poor era. Dublin are beating the worst Kerry team in 2 decades by the kick of a ball and scraping past a Mayo team who just cannot seem to get over the line.

Should Celtic do 10 in a row in 2 years time, will they be a better team than the Lisbon Lions? Or better than the team Martin O'Neill managed? No.
