Also, Banty would have been considered "decent" by many people when he got the Wexford job, and he was definitely experienced at the time too. But look what happened there..... Pikeman96 (Wexford) - Posts: 2254 - 05/09/2019 16:35:19 2233094 Link 0 |
Ryan became involved in team management. He had some involvement with various school teams like De La Salle Waterford and Coláiste Chathal Naofa in Dungarvan before joining the Slieverue junior hurling team as physical trainer in 2006. The following year he was appointed trainer of the Clongeen football team in Wexford and helped them claim the county title. Above is off Wikipedia now if its true its a bit more experience than training Junior club level players with the flipping Underdogs. Anyway best of luck for 2020 i think ye will need it. sourmilk93 (Roscommon) - Posts: 1149 - 05/09/2019 16:45:42 2233096 Link 0 |

Any thoughts on how the Banty experience shows that your recommendation for "a decent, experienced manager" doesn't always work out either????

I find it amusing that you would even care about who is managing the Wexford footballers... not as if we are in the same division in the league or province in the championship.

Will progress be measured by a galvanometer?
