What population advantage do Ratoath have when compared to other senior clubs, again I'd ask you to be factual (latest census figures only please). No point in throwing out comments just for the sake of it. Ratoath won the junior B today, that is a fact. Who knows if they'll win the senior or U20 for that matter."
You shouldn't expect someone else to do your homework for you, but, I'll give you a little help.

Have you seen our facilities ?
Are you aware of some of the main sponsors of the MCC are residents in Ratoath.
Are you aware of the level our underage teams play at ?
Are you aware of the amount of kids playing in our club ?
Are you aware of the amount of high earners in our club, who are only delighted to contribute.

I'll leave it with you to do your own research, after that.

We HAVE won junior B.
We WILL win the Keegan, next Sunday.
We WILL win U21.
We WILL win Club Of The Year.
We WILL continue to dominate for the foreseeable future.
And next year when we start to see the fruits of our work at Hurling, YOU WILL be one of the one calling for Splitting Ratoath, so as others can complete with us.

Have been advocating the split for Ratoath for some time now for when their numbers eventually begin to show, though I suspect it will be after a lot of the damage has been done. Their imminent bank rolled domination will likely take away from the championship and indeed the traditionally stronger village teams with smaller populations such as Skryne, Summerhill, Dunboyne, etc.

Ratoath have been split for a good few years now ! Dunboyne now consider themselves a small village ?

It's because of stupid posts like this that people love to see lose. Yes you have a very good team at the moment, but they're not world beaters. Boasting about winning the junior B is silly. Nearly every other Senior club have their second team playing Intermediate or junior A. You were favourites to win the U21 for the past 2 years, how did that go. Stop the silly posting your doing Ratoath no favours.

New teams will be split north and south of the Broadmeadow. There'll be killings.

Did it ever occur to you that the person writing about Ratoath is not actually from Ratoath. They may for all we know be from another club and are trying to create a bit of mischief !

Get a grip.
Another poster who posts without research !!
How in gods name were we favorites for u21 last year, when The Tones had the great majority of the same squad that won the previous year eligible to play.

I'm not boasting about winning junior B, just stating the facts.

We will be the dominant club in Meath for the foreseeable future in football and hopefully in hurling, because of the time and money put in at the under age level.
I hope others can keep up.

My thoughts would be " Fairyhouse Rd and Curagha Rd " would be a more realistic and fairer border, also easier to monitor.

I'm very much a Ratoath man. Unlike a lot of the blow ins on here. I can go back to the days playing at Moulden Bridge. I doubt many Ratoath posters on here, even know where that is !!!

Really looking forward to Sunday, It is great that the Minor Final will be on before to showcase the talent coming through, Summerhill hoping to have teams competing in both matches, would be a great achievement. They have shown remarkable resilience to put the disappointment of losing 2 finals to get back to this stage. Personally I think that they are better coach and more adaptable this year. Despite looking beaten in the semi final they were ruthless when the opportunity presented it.

Ratoath well this has been coming, all the underage success and promise, all the players they have on county teams at various grades and codes. I thought the really came of age the last day. They were poor in the first half but showed real quality and doggedness in the second half to leave Kells with no answers.

We will have the Ryans and the Wallaces going head to head. It will be sure to be a fast paced game. hopefully conditions are reasonably good and will not effect the game. It should be a cracker.

Safe to say PT will be awash in blue and yellow on Sunday! Should be a cracking game - 2 good teams - both playing fast attacking football! Can't wait!

Hard luck to Summerhill & particularly losing both Minor & Senior finals.
