Kerry, Donegal and Tyrone are the teams that have a chance.

Mayo v Donegal is going to be an interesting tussle. It'll tell a lot as they, Kerry and Tyrone step up their championship challenge. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7873 - 24/07/2019 14:03:44 2215756 Link 2 |
Honestly, any of the teams remaining who are in with a shout of the Semi Finals are there on merit and could win it. Tyrone are getting better and seem to peak around this time of year, but I don't think they have the forwards to lift the All Ireland. Kerry are a much improved team this season and look capable of lifting Sam to me anyway after last Sunday. I feel Donegal could also lift Sam but I feel with the likelihood of Dublin in the semi final and a one week turnaround, it's going to be a major ask. Mayo are on their last legs in my view and it's a question of when they get put aside rather than if. Donegal_abroad (Donegal) - Posts: 1321 - 24/07/2019 15:26:30 2215806 Link 1 |

Ya, I'd have to agree with those positions.

Mayo or Donegal are still in the hunt for county of the decade: legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7873 - 24/07/2019 17:59:16 2215887 Link 0 |
Looking forward to it...Mayo been written off by the experts and general public and while it's hard to argue with the points as we have not been playing well, We always have a big game in us now and then. Except fireworks in Castlebar.

Dublin is the obvious safe bet for retaining the All-Ireland. Remember that you heard it here first, Mayo are going to be lifting Sam senior in September. Why ? because they are still there. Mayo have nothing to prove to anyone, nobody expects them to do anything different than they have been doing for the last decade so there is no expectation of them doing anything different this year. But look at their resilience, look at the quality of their performances against the un-beatable Dubs over the last few years. Hoofhearted (Australia) - Posts: 49 - 25/07/2019 02:58:16 2216106 Link 0 |
