clare maybe a year ahead in development
Its going to be a very tense close game with the super 8s at stake."
LOL some of the stuff written on these forums is hilarious, Clare one year ahead of meath in there development ? how did ye come to that conclusion, couldn't be there performance in the league because Clare are very lucky to survive in div 2 and are lucky there's not going to be two divisions between them next year, was it there one point win over waterford ? Meath were well beaten by dublin in the end alright but do you think Clare would do any better ? Would Clare of beaten westmeath if westmeath didn't lose there three best players in the first half ? Meath hammered laois a team that beat westmeath only a month ago, truth be told meath should win this by 5 plus and I'm being kind to Clare by saying that.
Thanks for the laugh though.

Clare could spring a surprise in this one if you could call it that. They'll give Meath all they can handle of it.

Cavan Hammered by Tyrone. I have no doubt if we met Tyrone we'd have lost too.

Best wishes to Andy Brian Donal and all the team today. Safe journey to all fans from both counties traveling to game.
I like Clare , and I love their football people, they are very dedicated to the game in the face of hurling snobbery, so absolutely thrilled that they reached this far, obviously I hope they go no further this year. But still I have huge admiration for them.
Hon the royal

Huge game for us today, hopefully we can get the result but it won't be easy to pick the lads after the Leinster final.

I think Meath will shade it by a few points, it would be great to see Clare in the super 8's though.

I see Clare are 5/2 with the bookies...........I'll make them pay for that. Very generous. Don't miss out folks.

Listening to Morrissey and mcstay you'd think this was a game riddled with mistakes. Only once have they praised the efforts and skills. Some great scores and tackling. Great game.

What a game, like watching two under 10 teams going hammer and tongs at it and never taking a backward step. Ok some comical mistakes at times but what an effort from both sides. Some of the scores have been outrageous. Just shows that if you have evenly matched teams you can have a great game. I cant pick a winner, this could go to extra time.

Yes Gerry, some super score especially from Malone the wing forward I think from Clare . If it was one of the top plauers it would get alot more attention. Not patronising from the commentators I felt throughout.

I'd be a little bit worried at HT if I'm honest, I think Clare look hungrier and I think our confidence is on the fragile side.

Heading for extra time this I think, enjoyable game, either team will be tough opposition in Ballybofey next Sunday.
