We have been written off already.

No you should do a Jack on it and go to this match. But next year you should do a jack on it and vote with your wallet if we meet Dublin again.

This is our all Ireland final, it all comes down to this, do or die fixture. Bring it on.

The omens are good. The last time we actually won a Rd 4 qualifier was 10 years ago....in Portloaise....against Munster opposition.

Thought you'd be busy setting up a border post to establish the credentials of all those heading south towards Portlaoise on Sunday??

Yep. I think Meath and RD sometimes exaggerate their quality. While they are improving Clare are no mugs. Also Meath have done little at underage in 20 yrs to substantiate the quality we are let to believe. 50/50 game IMO.

Lay off on Jack, he seems to have had a change of heart this week. On another national forum topic he had a go at Tipperary fans not supporting their teams till the end (leaving the ground early when been beaten), saying this lack of support would be demoralising for the team in future matches
'Now more then ever they need the moral support from fans. You don't want them demoralised after the loss. Dublin or Laois next. Huge game which if they win I'd have them as favourites to beat Wexford. So there's still so much to play for.'

Ahh that's good. Nice to have him on board. I like jack.

You are right. We haven't beaten dubs in last 3 minoru/u17. We didn't win minor last year , none of the current senior team played in a minor all ire final beating both Tyrone and mayo along the way. How inaccurate of me. !!!!

Tough one for Meath mentally. They have enough to win this one, but do they really want to progress into the Lions Den?

Of course we do. Should we win. We play donegal in ballybofey, lost by a late howler of a goal in league, Kerry in navan? Our record in navan is fantastic. Galway/mayo in Croke park. Have beat Galway last number of times we played them, and mayo haven't beat us since 51. Nothing to fear. We are extremely well equipped to play any of them. One off game against a county does not make us a bad team. But hopefully all other counties will believe it does.

Think both Clare and Meath will be happy with this draw, recent league meetings will count for little, Clare on a bit of a run and Meath coming off the back of a disaster against Dublin and difficult to predict how we will react. I think a win here is a must for Meath to restore some pride and a bit of confidence. The experience of playing top teams in the super 8s (reguardless of results) would be invalueable if we hope to progress long term.

Have my ticket stub from Leinster Final so should be allowed to pass. Jack G may have to come in disguise.

In fairness I was alluding to a period of time and not in any way undermining individual underage achievements. Also I did say you were improving but not to the extent ye like to believe.

I have faith in both the management and players. Win on Sunday and that is every goal achieved, I really don't get what people think I say. I will NEVER go to a game believing we won't win. I couldn't call myself a real supporter if I did.
In January management county board and players all stated the 3 goals for this year was promotion to division 1, reach a Leinster final , and reach the super 8s , we are 70 minutes away from everything been achieved, so in that sense it has been a fantastic year. Yes the finishing against dubs was extremely disappointing, no one is saying otherwise, 11 shots on goal to 9 to dubs in first half shows we left our shooting boots behind when you see the return . We know we hell lot better than that.
Wouldn't be surprised if we shot the lights out v Clare. Beware the wounded royal.

Was thinking of holding a royal day. Don't want it clashing with the annual rossie day. What date is that this year :)
