I find it very hard to find enjoyment in watching Tyrone. Although they won emphatically and I expect them to reach the last 4 at least, there is an element to them I just don't like on a personal level. I was disappointed that poor Cavan drew them but someone had to. Cavan would have reached the Super 8s if they got a better draw but they wouldnt have made any impression so perhaps they're better off. And btw, yeah Im not a fan of Tyrone but that doesen't mean Im in the DUP or I deserve snarky remarks. Also my own county doesent deserve to be run down because I might not like another county, Some of the comments from Tyrone posters on this thread would make a horse vomit.

Wow how poor were Cavan? That's 2 games running, perhaps the ulster final hangover wasn't gone. Hope same won't happen to Meath.

Relax there Ted. They weren't playing one of the countries best. Lets reserve judgement and see how they fare against Dublin and Tyrone the space of 7 days. Lets not forget they were relegated, that said, 4-20 in any championship game is decent going.

Will be a pleasure watching us against Dubs next week. No stress on us, considering where we've coy from. Up against the best football team I have ever seen , and i've been watching games since 1950's

Yeah. 2-16 was poor. How did your provincial final go, remind me.

Lucky with the free pass.

No you haven't. Not if you rate this Dublin team ahead of Kerry 78-81. But then rivalries can taint logic

Dubs in the last 5 years, Kerry 78-81, Galway 64-66 and Down 60-61 in that order

Seriously hard to take a message like that from a meath man not finding enjoyment in watching tyrone scoring freely after the dublin v meath match. Ironic when you think about.

I really don't like Meath on personal level. I have had come across some serious unsavoury incidents with their fans over the years.

They are jealous, spiteful, nasty and vindictive.

But what really annoys me about them is that they somehow think they are still relevant. They talk like it is still the mid nineties.

I honestly don't mind taking a certain amount of flak from other successful counties like Dublin, Mayo or Donegal but Meath just make me laugh.

Also they play a poor quality brand of football, they are neither aggressive or imaginative or exciting or even controversial. They have no star players. I honestly cannot name anyone on their panel, which is crazy coming from a big football fan like me.

And they have not achieved anything of merit in years and yet they still talk like they are better than everyone else.

I watch a lot of Games, attend a lot of games, many that don't include my own county but I would find watching Tyrone satisfying but unfortunately I couldn't say that about watching your county. Maybe it's because I don't know the names of any of the players as they don't stand out for me. No disrespect or anything like that but hopefully we will all get to see a lot more of them in the super 8s.
