So far in League in championship it has to be Cathal Mc Shane from Tyrone. Has been outstanding.

Young Ruane from Mayo has impressed me highly so far.

Cox as well.

Seanie Shea from our own team.

Mcshane as one of ye mentioned.

Definetely have Murphy in there too as the fridge said along with all of the above mentioned. Cox is flying.

From the limited bit of division 2 I got to see he (murphy) looked like the ultimate game changer every time he got on the ball. It looked like men against boys on occasion with him.

These threads are pointless because most posters will nominate a player from their own county apart from the fact that they're biased they would see their own players in action most of the time and wouldn't know much else about who is having a good league /championship!

You can't have seen much of him if you think all he does is pop over frees (a hugely important contribution in its own right). He was brilliant throughout the league, difficult final alright where he was very deliberately targeted and taken out of the game by Mayo. He is not the first to have that happen to him, Dublin fans should know all about it.

As for POTY so far it's very hard to say but Conor Cox has exceeded all expectations so far, had a good league and contributed to a huge victory over a fancied Mayo, he probably shades it for me but a long way to go, let's see how he does against a more robust Galway defensive setup in the final.

Watched him against Cavan in the league and he ran the show that day. Superb player and much more than a free taker.
