May 18th is the Cavan game that counts. Roscommon will be playing a Kerry team already in league final the following week. Highly unlikely either Mon or Cavan will be playing Div 1 next season. Every Monaghan supporter would gladly go to Div 2 and make an Ulster Final again ... after two terrible semi defeats. Cavan improving for sure. If Mon do not get the their injured players back ... 4 in particular ... May 18th could be very very tricky. And even with them back it will be difficult. 'I have a feeling Dublin will drop points this year, at least early in the league. Roscommon and Cavan clearly favourites to be relegated but we could surprise a few and survive. The monaghan match will be pivotal. Going onto this one, Cavan are exactly where they could have expected to be whereas Monaghan look a bit shell-shocked at the minute.
