Can somebody clarify for me how late before a match can you buy tickets online for league matches? For the second week in a row, I've tried to buy tickets online on the Friday before the Sunday match . A full 2 days before the match. And both days, there have been no tickets available. Like a lot of GAA people, I didn't agree with the recent price hike. But I thought, fair enough, if you still want to buy the tickets at €15 you can pre-purchase them online. It was widely touted by the GAA and media (most prominently by my own countyman Dick Clerkin) that you can buy online tickets at the lower price up til the day before the match. I didn't know you couldn't print off the tickets from email as you can do for a Croke Park match. Sounds a bit old fashioned but maybe county grounds just don't have the equipment to scan them. There are SuperValu stores in Castleblayney, Carrickmacross, Clones, and Monaghan town. If they provide the facility (as they should), you should be able to purchase tickets today from them for the game tomorrow at the reduced price.
