Still streets ahead of last week's football semis. The co commentator is fine. Give me Duignan over Dessie Boran any day. BliainanÁir (Laois) - Posts: 598 - 19/08/2018 17:57:39 2134441 Link 0 |

Congratulations to Limerick!! Very young team, will be a force for many years. Nonetheless, it will be difficult for them too to put back-to-backs. Very little between most of the teams at the moment. Next year I predict a revival from the Sunny South East, with the likes of Galway and Clare (unfortunately) slipping back a bit. Difficult to see which, if any, of the big three will be at the cutting end of next year's championship. But today definitely belongs to our Munster neighbours, and ENJOY THE PARTY!!! On a side note, how could 10 minutes of additional time be justified? MiAmigaVERONICA (Clare) - Posts: 300 - 19/08/2018 18:12:53 2134450 Link 0 |
I wouldn't put him ahead of those you mentioned on a par. He confirmed his greatness, if it was needed by anyone, with his second half defiant display and great scores, especially the goal. BliainanÁir (Laois) - Posts: 598 - 19/08/2018 18:14:44 2134451 Link 0 |
Wow...congrats Limerick on a well deserved all Ireland. Great Galway comeback but left it too late. Better team won tho. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11232 - 19/08/2018 18:31:01 2134455 Link 3 |

Oh god can we quit with comparisons for one day! MD not a good co-commentator in my opinion.

Very disappointed but I have no complaints. Limerick were better all across the field. They were first to every ball. They were faster. Hungrier. Well done Limerick. Ref was a non issue. No complaints. Trump2020 (Galway) - Posts: 2126 - 19/08/2018 18:54:05 2134470 Link 1 |
Unbelievable to win, to be honest I feel numb at the moment. This is the fifth time I've left Croke park after a final, first time only a baby in1980, and to win is beyond description. Re 10mins extra time, if ever a ref played for a draw it was today.. When Galway scored there point on the 8th min to go one behind that should have been it. Thank God we held out....Luimnigh abú All ireland champions 2018:) skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1063 - 19/08/2018 18:59:42 2134474 Link 1 |
My God I don't know how any Limerick or Galway fan could have survived those last 10 mins, I was on the floor at the end. TheHermit (Kerry) - Posts: 6354 - 19/08/2018 19:08:35 2134478 Link 2 |

MD an excellent co commentator in my opinion. Sometimes comparisons are needed to make a point.
