Now that's a proper championship unlike the football championship which is dead.

Congratulations to limerick and hard luck to Galway.

Still streets ahead of last week's football semis.

The co commentator is fine. Give me Duignan over Dessie Boran any day.

Well what did I tell ya's ? I
Knew from early this season limerick were going to win the all Ireland , well done limerick savage win fair play to Galway it would of been a robbery but what a comeback.

Joe Canning has cemented his position as an All time hurling great.
Best player i have ever seen...including Christy ring, D.j Carey, Shefflin etc

well done limerick. chuffed for limerick.

good teams win all irelands .. great teams win themore back to back. Galway couldn't do it and u til a team does they can't be compared to great kilkenny teams of the past.

Thank God that's over anyway, as the saying goes.. leaving the best til last with the Dubs and Tyrone in a fortnight.

Different codes i know but shows how brilliant the dublin footballers are for their hunger to win tight tight games against very good kerry and mayo teams over the years. They are going for 4 in a row and even if we don't do it I won't allow that be forgotten. :) (bait thrown)

Congratulations to Limerick!! Very young team, will be a force for many years. Nonetheless, it will be difficult for them too to put back-to-backs. Very little between most of the teams at the moment. Next year I predict a revival from the Sunny South East, with the likes of Galway and Clare (unfortunately) slipping back a bit. Difficult to see which, if any, of the big three will be at the cutting end of next year's championship. But today definitely belongs to our Munster neighbours, and ENJOY THE PARTY!!! On a side note, how could 10 minutes of additional time be justified?

I wouldn't put him ahead of those you mentioned on a par.

He confirmed his greatness, if it was needed by anyone, with his second half defiant display and great scores, especially the goal.

Wow...congrats Limerick on a well deserved all Ireland. Great Galway comeback but left it too late. Better team won tho.

hard luck Galway. Fate conspired against us this year. But we will win next year again.

Oh god can we quit with comparisons for one day! MD not a good co-commentator in my opinion.

Very disappointed but I have no complaints. Limerick were better all across the field. They were first to every ball. They were faster. Hungrier. Well done Limerick. Ref was a non issue. No complaints.

Unbelievable to win,
to be honest I feel numb at the moment. This is the fifth time I've left Croke park after a final, first time only a baby in1980, and to win is beyond description.

Re 10mins extra time, if ever a ref played for a draw it was today..
When Galway scored there point on the 8th min to go one behind that should have been it.

Thank God we held out....Luimnigh abú
All ireland champions 2018:)

My God I don't know how any Limerick or Galway fan could have survived those last 10 mins, I was on the floor at the end.
Congratulations to our neighbours Limerick, 45 years of hurt wiped away and wiped away in style.
Comisserations to Galway, they fought back like true champions but I think it would have been a fierce injustice if Limerick lost today.
Brilliant brilliant stuff sure the week that's in it, I might put a tenner on the Limerick Rose for Tuesday :)
