Ref not able to keep up the pace

I know its the nature of the game here but ref is poor and not helping the game at all. Monaghan keep turning into tackles at this stage of the game it ain't working. So much grabbing, dragging, pulling it is pretty annoying. Scores are precious out there.

Marty Morrissey really hoping for Monaghan win here, his bias is laughable.

Is it just me or has Tyrone got some very handy frees today?

Replying To Donegalman:  "Good close game. Tyrone a 2nd half team. I fancy them to get through by 5 points or more."
Close yes but not great in fairness. We got crucified yesterday for 'lack on intensity'. Today's teams no better to what we served up.

What was Beggan at? He didn't need to do that the ref is never blowing til Monaghan lose possession crazy shot jesus they'll never have a better chance.

Colm Cav is a beast out there for us. Dessie Dolan is a pure dose of a commentator.

Tyrone deserved it

Monaghan very disappointing and handed Tyrone exactly what they wanted.

But still could have won

Tyrone not world beaters and for me got some handy frees that led to scores

Poor aul ref tried his best but I'd question several of his calls

Well done to Tyrone but no more narrowing pitches for you boys coming up.

Can't wait for the final!!

Very sorry for the Monaghan lads, tough break, Tyrone just about deserved it so well done to them. All the red hand supporters who stuck with Harte for the last 10 years will feel more than vindicated.
A tough opponent for us on the 2nd but really looking forward to it now, as Tyrone will be hellbent on taking revenge on what we've being doing to them in recent times.

This was always going to be a tight game and well done to both for such a nail biting finish unlike that friendly yesterday. However Tyrone will need to look at their missed chances and frees conceded if they are going to make a game of it in final. Also think Lee Keegan was watching another game possibly the Man City v Arsenal match - monaghan may have had 2 goal chances but Tyrone had at least 4 - crazy analysis.

Just saw on Twitter the ref putting his hand up signalling a free in for Hughes but then nothing happened? Also the extra time was a joke!!!

Tyrone have benefited extensively from poor referee calls all championship.

tyrone just about deserved to win i think lack of composure at the end cost monaghan the extra time chance.tyrone have all the tricks and can benefit if getting a poor ref performance like to day in the final. Not many will fancy them against Dublin but they have some good players so you never know.

Again what's a free one minute is a dive the next, then you have overcarrying not pulled at all. Players didn't help but a ref lays down a marker early, instead of giving iffy soft frees they' have to be sure. Then a slap in on the head is not a free. Game was bad enough.
Best of luck to Tyrone, it's going to be tough.

First half stat from weekend...
Tyrone converted 8 out of 18 attempts
Monaghan converted 8 out of 17 attempts
Galway converted 8 out of 18 attempts
Dublin converted 10 out of 12 attempts
Shows Dubs have better shooters but also not taking as many shots,, the low % ones

The ref didn't kick umpteen wides in front of the posts and many more hail Marys from Monaghan. More composed team won.

A tight and entertaining game - settled by a couple of poor calls by the ref (the Cavanagh one in particular). A draw was the least Monaghan deserved. I'm afraid that the standard today will not cause any unease in the Dublin camp
