Not a cliche, But Darragh Maloney's ability to know how far a player is from goal when he is shooting is quite something..

Here is Brian Fenton shooting from 47.568mtrs out .. STOP IT DARRAGH!!

OR Marty giving us the family history of a player. Here is (player x), son of (father y) and grandson of (granda Z) .. All he short of doing is giving blood group and DNA analysis.

Every save in hurling is a brilliant save!

Some are great saves but some are fairly standard.

I hate the term 'It's set up for a grandslam finish'

Dessie Dolan uses it constantly and it does my nut in.

Martin Carney - "there was no malice in that challenge" as a player is stretchered off the field after a clearly deliberate attempt to injure him!

Ger Canning - "down in Cork, they just call it the Park" - we know Ger, you told us that 10 minutes ago.

Its the same in football too. A shot from any distance that is kicked 6 inches to the left or right of the goalkeeper is always called a "great save".

A bill kicked straight at the keeper is called a 'point blank save' No it's not it's just brutal shooting.
