Wow what a game , Clare should be allowed play in Croke Park every summer , reminded me of the two crackers against Cork in '13.

Duggan's score from the gods.

Next Saturday in Croker right ?

If Joe and Mc are out you have to fancy Clare what heart from both sides jaysis.

If Conor McGrath could get fit and sharpe Clare would be unstoppable.

If anyone knows of better entertainment than that can ye let me know!!
What a game!!
Galway were unbelievable for the first 15 mins. Looked like men against boys. The clare players and management couldn't be given enough credit for how they turned it around. Only for a few jittery mistakes they would've won that. BUT no one deserved to loose
What a championship, what a year!

What a game, that second half was as intense a game as I've ever witnessed, Clare finally produced the type of performance that they are capable of. The question now is can they push on and win the replay. Galway will be sweating on injuries and will be wondering what it takes to shake off Clare twice in the second half it looked like they had it only for Clare to rally. Well done both teams on an epic encounter

Sunday in Thurles or Croker, Parnell Park will be big enough for the Dubs and Roscommon. Ye had your home game already and Galway footballers are out on Saturday evening. No way will the GAA be stupid enough to put Galway Footballers and Hurlers on the same day but 130 miles apart. They have had enough negative publicity this year already with the Liam Millar game and Newbridge or nowhere.

Great game. Galway seemed to have it won several times but Clare wouln't lie down and kept coming back. Galway kept Hawkeye much busier than normal but their shooting was poor overall. Tactics for the replay will be interesting.

A problem with reply next Sat. All Ireland Camogie Quarter finals are on in PUC - both camogie games there are being televised live on RTE next weekend. RTE could request the Dublin vs Galway game move to earlier time and allow the Clare Galway run as well. But I would imagine the crowd will be much bigger given the hurling fest we saw this evening so I would imagine Croker is ideal.

They should have it in PP I'd have no problem with that.

Not shooting 20 plus wides would be a help. Some really bad misses by Galway but full credit to Clare for fighting back.Hard to call the replay or to know who has the advantage.Hopefully Galway's injuries are not serious and that both teams are at full strength for what should be a pulsating replay.

Galway and Clare will meet in Semple Stadium next Sunday in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final replay with a 2 pm throw-in.
I feel totally deflated after today. I am afraid it is the end for us this year. We absolutely threw it away. Missed too many Goalscoring chances. We should have held on to the lead at the end. Missed a golden chance to win it in normal time. Too many injuries now. JC out plus a few more.

Great game loved it but Galway lad leading by a point with less than a minute left having a Hail Mary sideline cut for a point & handing the puck out & possession to Clare.
In the first game in 2013 Cork did exactly the same thing with the same result.
All was needed was to retain possession or try & bring play down by opposition corner flag.
Anyway another great day to look forward to.
If Canning & McInerney are both out, you would have to fancy Clare.

In fairness very few are saying that hurling is not the best game going. We can like other sports as well though. Also this year has seen better hurling than most other years with the new system. On the game itself got to hand it to Clare. Some comeback after being dominated for half the first half.

Ah here sky sports gave Padraig Mannion motm, come on Duggan was motm all day long his point alone deserved the award but he did so much more than that when they went 9 down it was him who took the fight to Galway.

By the way I've been saying for years Clare are a Croke Park team the open spaces suit their players so much more than any other side. Tony Kelly what a player.

I'd say Mac is out. Hard to know with Joe's type of injury. A cracking game, with a lot of mistakes on both sides too.
We could've killed the game off in the 1st half, but Clare deserve a huge amount of credit for how they battled back. Once they moved Galvin back, the game changed.
On our side we kept battling. The quick score after Shanagher's goal was crucial. We certainly could have won it, but only for the block on McGrath at the end of normal time we would've lost.
Johnny Glynn put in some shift. He really stood up when needed most. He'll never be silkiest, but he's an absolute handful.
Looking forward to next Sunday.

9 points up after 10 minutes and let Clare back into it, 12 points up against Kilkenny and let them back to within a point. Galway just can't seem to kill teams off early when they have the game by the scruff of the neck and it may cost them now if McInerney and Canning are out or not fully fit next week. But what a match, couldn't ask for better entertainment.
