4pm for championship games on the sunday.

Best (home) and worst (away) weekend time would be the same for me - Friday evening at 19:30/20:00. Best because what better way to kick off the weekend than finishing your work, having dinner and getting to watch a bit of GAA. Worst because a lot of our away games tend to be in Belfast or beyond so the chances of making them after work, dinner and an hour+ drive is not really practical.

I suppose for myself personally any home game works at the weekend regardless of day or time. Always easier to plan things when you know you are less than 5 minutes from the pitch.

For avoidance of doubt I am referring to Club games. Our County season is never long enough to pick a favourite time for home and away games.... :-)

This time of year it has to be 8pm. Unless there is a long journey home ( say 2 hrs or more) and it is at the week end when favourite time becomes 7pm.

In Winter 3.30 pm on Sat/Sunday

Playing or watching?
Always preferred evening matches when playing as it's generally the same time as when you train

It really depends on how far you have to travel. I like then idea of Saturday evening games, better atmosphere and all that but not if you have too far to travel home afterwards. For a Sunday game I prefer the 2pm kick off.

5 on a Saturday or 2 on a Sunday.

The qualifiers on a hot Saturday evening are great fun but 7 is a bit late for people travelling.

Sunday at 2 is good as it gives time for morning stuff and time to get back for evening.

I'd be fairly sure he was referring to hurling, camogie or gaelic football...

i have to say the two home games we've had in the pairc this year at 7pm on saturday vs limerick and kerry were great nights, atmosphere in the stadium was electric and then being able to sample the post match atmosphere in city centre afterwards were two great nights and hopefully in future their will be many more, so for a home game 7pm on a saturday suits me perfectly and is great

for trips away im swaying towards 2pm on a sunday, ive had many trips down to killarney for munster football days with 2pm throw in times and indeed last sunday for the 2pm throw in in thurles and find it to be ideal as your up early and in around the town from maybe 11 onwards...and you are back to home base relatively early at 8pm or so in time for the sunday game

one time that really sticks out as an ideal time and a great time had with fellow and opposing supporters was the replay 2013 all ireland final with throw in at 5pm on a saturday evening..that was something special even tho we did end up losing the game the night out after and craic had was ideal and perfect.. altho i do appreciate that my favoured times will differ greatly to the family of 5 with kids or whatever who have no interest in the sort of "having a few" side of things so all in all id say for the benifit of all the ideal time really for any game is sunday 2pm or 4pm

Has to be wintertime!

Empty stands, room up the back in the shelter. Teams trying out young lads and new teams/formations.

Wintertime, best time to watch matches in fairness
