Galway Vs Killkenny

I'm going for a big Galway win here once they don't get sucked into a dog fight or arm wrestle otherwise it could be a ugly win.

Wow, what a difference a week makes.
Galway completely dominating the first 20 minutes.
Better everywhere than Kk.

Galway just too good for this Kilkenny team, one moan folks is the sliothar too light ? It feels like you can score from anywhere, lads are just tapping it over from their own half I personally don't like it. Put a bit of weight but in the ball imo.

Replying To Cockney_Cat:  "And since 2009, Kilkenny have won it 6 times, the rest 3. As I said, you're free to leave, but won't (after your silly threats last year); because you know Munster won't have you."
I'm sure Munster would have them. It would be perfect for the round robin.

What a great game brilliant qualities from both teams, Galway seem to have the edge now on KK but somehow I have a feeling these two will be meeting again. Well done Galway and well done to KK for making a real fight of it.

Galway showed why they are All Ireland Champions today. They are much better than the 7 point win, Kilkenny got a lucky goal and a goal that should have been a free out.

They will take some stopping again this year, if they play like that again no team will live with them.

Galway were way ahead of Kilkenny and will take some stopping.
Deservedly, Galway are strong favourites for All Ireland.
Am hoping for Cork and Galway final.

You had your chance last year. Galway sounded out Munster when they were threatening to pull out of Leinster. All the Munster counties sad no, To fearful of what they'd do in Munster no doubt.

Well done Galway. Savage game.......some 2nd half comeback by KK BUT they are beatable ...as proved today! RTE ,please change your commentators.....Michael Duignan....a tired and biased pundit....loves KK!!!

Excellent by Galway. Never say die as always by Kilkenny, although their first goal was over carrying and their third goal could've been blown too. Good game.

Exactly, if they don't go on and win it I'd be really surprised.
Real quality in that side and panel overall.

17 Steps exactly he took with first goal, without a hurley. My God what are the GAA going to do about these inept Officials?? Second Goal also questionable, but I will give them that. They have been beaten twice by us now and they got lucky draw. They are still in the All Ireland, and another set of inept officials could hand them an All Ireland.

Great result for Galway, pitty we let them slither their way back into it like a snake but great to be back in another All Ireland semi final as back to back Leinster Hurling Champions.

There are five excellent hurling counties in Munster. Winning Munster Hurling always highly valued.
The same situation does not apply to Leinster and adding Galway to Leinster has helped to redress
that imbalance. Galway had been in Munster in the past and were not successful.
