Will be a different match compared to the one in Pearse; still see Galway coming on top by a few.

Well if Galway are not 100% the real deal they will find out shortly.
If Kk can pull off a victory in this one it will raise serious questions about how good Galway supposedly are.
Galway should be able for them in their current form.

I hope so but I hate when Galway are "talked up" by the experts. They did the same thing last year before the Galway-Tipp match as if Tipp didn't belong there. Only for Cannings amazing point we may have been on the short end yet again. This match will be a typical gritty physical match and it could go either way.

Shocking to think the Munster and Leinster hurling finals are on Sunday and still all the talk is about the football qualifiers, GAA missed a bet when the round robin system was in place, every eye was on hurling, a break for 1 or 2 weeks and all momentum on the hype of hurling has been list. Tough game but I expect Galway to win this tight affair

Theres no one talking about Gaelic football underneath the Galway to Dublin line. Kerry haven't even got anyone around them to talk to..West Cork Gaelic isn't going well enough for Kerry to even have banter either

I'm really looking forward to this match. The last match in Salthill is irrelevant. What ever the result, both teams will remain in the Championship, but this game itself, win or lose, should improve both teams.

Agree totally but I think the GAA will have learned a lot this year and hopefully tweek for 2019. Should be interesting tomorrow. I still expect a Galway win. Thinking they are 5-6 points the better and if in form it could be more. Saying that we didn't see the full KK in Pearse Stadoum. Galway's to lose!!

John Mullane rates Galway highly.

"This current Galway team is the closest you'll get to the Kilkenny side of the late noughties and early in this decade...It's the sheer strength and physical power of this Galway team that has hurling fans up and down the country waxing lyrical about them, and drawing comparison with that all-conquering Kilkenny crop."

Great game, anyone listening to Michael Kavanagh's co-commentary on the wireless?

Not a classic final by any means but good hurling. Where will the replay be now that Croker is out of commission for the next two weekends? Portlaoise?

Where do rte get them.? Joe Canning is a shadow of himself.I still think the draw is a good result for Galway who's hurlers never carry the favourites mantle well.I'd expect a better Galway display the next day. They'll need it .Thought the best team on view today was Cork who would be my favourites for the All-Ireland at this stage.

I thought Galway looked a bit Rusty and off the Mark. I think KK lost a good chance today to beat Galway. Galway will wake up after this and it will bring them on a Mile. More a Case of KK missing the Bus than Galway.

If Galway learn from today, they can win next Sunday. Kilkenny still able to spook them.
Two goal chances for Galway not put away in first half, I thought due to a casual approach.
Roll on Thurles, what are the odds on Newbridge?

Cork would beat either of those two teams and beat them well. Now I know we 'll look for a big improvement from both teams and it was a physical encounter but please don't insult people's intelligence by saying this was a good hurling match. The sloppiness out of Galway was shocking. Joe Cannings misses were very poor but he was reasonable in general play.. Kilkenny are what Loughnane has said they are..'functional'. If they get to An All Ireland Semi then Galway need to get the brandy bottle and revolver from the drawer in the Study.

Given to hyperbole much? Anyone who supports their view by referencing Ger Loughnane is either related to the man, or is the man himself.

Lack of game time and nerves showed today, that's all. It happens.

Agree with o lot of that post.Cork the best team on view today. They have a big chance of winning the All-Ireland this year.Agree that Galway were sloppy today. An obvious case of them believing the hype in the media about how great a team they are rather than playing today's game on it's merits. As always,Cody had Kilkenny ready and their attitude and intensity were spot on. Can't agree though with the hype on rte radio about Cody building a new team.Killkenny's best players today were their established players who are still carrying the team- Padraig Walsh,Paul Murphy, Cillian Buckley, T.J Reid. The new players were mostly taken off-Keoghan,Leahy,Billy Ryan all substituted today.

I think cork are a fast team. They will be hard to beat. but some of their forwards should be in the world cup. They won't beat galway or kilkenny unless they keep diving for soft frees. At least galway and kilkenny are genuine hurlers.

Galway won't be as bad again this year....before the likes of Galway got one chance to beat Kilkenny...I think it is the other way round now.

Cork had poor games in Munster before today, I would still have Galway as All Ireland favourities with Cork at no 2.
