Replying To katser:  "Would Mullingar be a good venue for a double header...Armagh v Roscommon and Monaghan v Laois? Hyde Park for Kildare v Fermanagh and Tyrone v Cork?"
wouldn't have thought Mullingar would have been big enough for 2 games

Mullingar would be a good venue for a double header for maybe a club game or ladies football. It would struggle to hold the crowd for two teams mentioned above never mind four

The longridge I heard the local derby comment too...she was clueless god help her!!

Replying To Byanthon:  "Fermanagh vs Kildare : Very impressed with Kildare on Saturday their ability to kick 21 points should see them overcome Fermanagh's defence.

Laois vs Monaghan : Monaghan have drawn all Division 4 teams to qualify via the backdoor. I can not remember that happening before and I will take them to win.

Cork vs Tyrone : Tyrone have never beaten Cork in the championship and 2009 was one of the few times Tyrone were completely outclassed. Still hard to believe Cork can recover from the beating Kerry give them and I go for Tyrone narrowly.

Roscommon vs Armagh : Hardest to call but maybe Roscommon have played at a higher league standard over the last few years and this may stand to them."
Tyrone v cork will be very interesting, both are running teams so I wouldn't be expecting a lot of kicking in this game, cork have forgotten that you need to score to win games and to score you have to shoot, this is where Tyrone will beat cork, cork will need Connolly to score about 10 points and hope the rest of the forwards manage to stick a goal or two.

Kildare should be able to grind down Fermanagh, the confidence will be high now after Saturday's game.

Monaghan v Laois, I'd say this game will be close but Monaghan to shade it.

Roscommon v Armagh, Armagh have all really take out Clare another division 2 team so I don't think they'll fear the toddies and I think Armagh will win.

Surely they should fix 2 double headers this weekend in Newbridge ha ha.

Would somewhere like Portlaois suit the Tyrone v Cork game and Kildare v Fermanagh?

Where do RTE get them? The lady is a member of Dublin Ladies football team. She must have travelled around the country for matches.

Can't see Fermanagh agreeing to Portlaoise and I wouldn't blame them. Navan is more likely.

you could definitely see Portlaoise for the Cork Tyrone game

I'm not sure that double headers will be feasible without dragging some counties way out of the way

My thoughts for what they are worth

Monaghan v Laois - Navan

Cork v Tyrone - Portlaiose/Tullamore

Fermanagh v Kildare - Parnell Park

Armagh v Roscommon - Clones (Should have been Breffni - I make it now 4 games Breffni has missed out on this year so far - 2 Cavan home games, Mon v Ferm Qualifier and now this one) a hit for the pubs of Cavan town.

Well, she did say they went straight in to the Leinster final so I wouldn't bank on her having done much travelling. How does that work, by the way - Dublin get a bye to the provincial final?

Just saw on twitter that Tyrone and Armagh are a double header for Portlaoise at 5 and 7. Fermanagh in Navan at 7pm and then Monaghan at 2pm on the Tuesday in Navan. Don't know how reliable any of this is though.

I would say Fermanagh got their preferred opponent of the 2 to chose from in Kildare. However after their win at the weekend Kildare should have too much if their heads are right.

The Cork Tyrone game is a tricky one to call. It is difficult to predict which Cork side will show up. They have the players to give Tyrone plenty of problems and beat them. Tyrone have been no more than workmanlike in their qualifier games but still possess some of the best players in the country. A tricky game to call it is the type of game in which Cork will show up and shock people.

Again Monaghan have got their ideal draw in Laois. However Laois are very well managed and have some very good players. If Monaghan are not on their game this has the potential to be another shock.

As for Roscommon and Armagh I fully expect Roscommon to win here. I think they are the strongest of the qualifier teams left and will have too much for this Armgah team who performed miracles at the weekend in beating Clare.
