A Leinster final played in Munster and one team from Connacht. Gotta love the Hurling provincial championships...

Kildare against Laois so the GAA don't run the risk of sending the Dubs to Newbridge.

Tyrone against Fermanagh as they'll want an all Ulster tie to avoid 4 Ulster teams going through.

Armagh against Roscommon. Arguably the weakest of the Ulster sides against probably the strongest provincial runner up and it reduces the risk of Dublin ending up in a group with 3 Ulster teams.

Or maybe I'm just a bit cynical...

Fermanagh vs Kildare
Laois vs Monaghan
Cork vs Tyrone
Roscommon vs Armagh

Predicting results won't be as straightforward as people might have thought

Where do we expect venue to play Fermanagh?
Navan or nowhere, get it trending...

Predicting venues is difficult. Could it be double headers. Armagh v Roscommon and Tyrone v Cork on a double bill for Sky and Fermanagh V Kildare and Laois v Monaghan.

Possibly cork tyrone in portlaoise or tullamore, monaghan laois in navan or parnell park and other 2 games double header in clones

One of these games was supposed to be shown live on rte Sunday at 3 but with the hurling replay in that slot does that mean none will be shown. I don't think clones would be a neutral venue for Roscommon armagh would be an advantage to armagh. I don't know why the dont let couties toss for home advantage at this stage.

I agree with you, they will probably have 2 double headers, one on Saturday at Croke Park and one on Sunday at some other venue.

I can see Tyrone beating Cork easily enough and Monaghan will account for Laois. Kildare should have enough for Fermanagh but I wouldn't like to bet the house on it. The Roscommon and Armagh match is a tough one to call, perhaps Roscommon have a bit more but need to improve on their scoring return.

Fermanagh vs Kildare : Very impressed with Kildare on Saturday their ability to kick 21 points should see them overcome Fermanagh's defence.

Laois vs Monaghan : Monaghan have drawn all Division 4 teams to qualify via the backdoor. I can not remember that happening before and I will take them to win.

Cork vs Tyrone : Tyrone have never beaten Cork in the championship and 2009 was one of the few times Tyrone were completely outclassed. Still hard to believe Cork can recover from the beating Kerry give them and I go for Tyrone narrowly.

Roscommon vs Armagh : Hardest to call but maybe Roscommon have played at a higher league standard over the last few years and this may stand to them.

Kildare, Monaghan, Roscommon and Tyrone to win. I heard on Morning Ireland that Roacommon v Armagh Is a local derby of sorts. Seriously, they are in 2 different provinces, maybe 100-120 miles apart.

Croke Park is out........Michael Buble
Breffni Park is out.........Pitch being relaid

I can see all four games going to separate venues

Would Mullingar be a good venue for a double header...Armagh v Roscommon and Monaghan v Laois? Hyde Park for Kildare v Fermanagh and Tyrone v Cork?

Cork v (Tyr/Mon/Arm/Kil)
Laois v (Tyr/Mon/Arm/Kil)

One double header - Semple?

Fermanagh v (Tyrone/Kildare)
Roscommon v (Tyr/Mon/Arm/Kil)

One double header - Clones (if no Monaghan?)

Cant believe Michael Buble is booked in for Croker week before the Super 8s - premier competition of the GAA - pitch destroyed as usual from a concert because the GAA HQ are literally THAT greedy"
Pitch was in perfect condition after the Taylor Swift concert. Doesn't seem to be a big ofan issue as it used to be. Must have found a way to keep it preserved
