I certainly think they can win Munster. They have great physicality and tonight they really improved their shooting accuracy. I would have only Galway ahead of them because of the better overall quality of Galway's forwards.

They have a very slim chance this year, I would give it around 4 years.

Well, you're my new favourite Dub anyway!!
That's a great result for us tonight. There's real belief in this very young team...just going to savour a point won and wait for Waterford next week.

I think John Kiely has brought a very steady influence to Limerick and hopefully. hopefully we can kick on.
. Luimneach abú!

Maybe not this year but if this generation dont get one in the next decade, then limerick never will in my lifetime.. and I'm in my 20s.

Yeah I would love to see Limerick win it out. They were very impressive tonight and showed great spirit. Do they carry enough of a goal threat though?

I was hugely impressed with them today. They played with a level of self-belief and conviction that I have rarely seen from a Limerick team and they had a great spread of scorers. I think this year might be too soon for them to go all the way but they have massive potential.

Playing with 14 seriously reduces your chances of scoring goals.

Not sure if they have the talent in depth squad wise to go all the way. Let's get real also, they drew with Cork who drew with Tipp who were 10 points down at half time . Galway are still well placed to retain it for me but it's good to see Limerick back in the mix.

Yeah, get real is right.
playing away from home, a man down for 60% of the match, our captain and centre back gone before 10mins... Could have lost shape completely.
The fact is we didn't, and had the fight to claim a point. Yesterday was a huge result.

Questioning the depth is strange considering several pundits have said we've arguably the best squad in the country (not best starting 15). Plenty of players with lots of pedigree aren't even making the match day squad. players like colin Ryan, Barry Nash, Kevin Downes and Peter Casey has been injured..

That's fair enough , if ye have the players to go all the way then it would be brilliant for hurling to see Limerick win an AI after 45 years which is crazy.
I personally cannot see past Galway again though, they now know they can do it. Dublin footballers had it for years and hurlers will have to overcome it too if they are to win an AI.
The mental strength to overcome a proven winner is a vital component too.Time will tell.
Best of luck though, unless we meet. ;)

That's fair enough comment. I have great time for Dublin hurling ..very humble and real old skool inner city Dubs in Kevin's and Crumlin. The Quiet type .
I think Galway are very good but don't tell me they don't have weaknesses. They aren't the Kilkenny of old and on a given day any of the top 3 Munster teams could turn them over

I was very impressed with Limerick last night,to play as they did with 14 men, they never gave up even though they must have have been getting very tired,I think Galway are the team to beat but if Limerick can keep playing as they did last night they will give any team a run for their money,it wouldnt surprise me if Limerick make the final and then you wouldnt know what would happen, they have the skill and the determination as they showed last night.

Yeah, Galway are not invinoble by any means I just think they"ll be able to hurling with more freedom now they have a monkey off their back and will take a lot of stopping. Anyway, it's all to look forward to.

It's hard to know who are the top 3 in Munster though.

As good as Limerick where you must not forget that Cork played 3 Championship games in 13 days. We had 6 days rest after the Tipp game and Limerick came in after a 13 days rest. I think that evened up the extra man and we actually played better 15 on 15 so I wouldn't get too carried away about the result. limerick have some really decent players but if we played them again i think we could beat them. I am sure they think the same. The Munster championship has been epic so far. Waterford for me gave the most impressive performance with so many injuries and had it not been for the ghost goal then they would have won.
