Some very interesting ties,
Mayo would have to be happy, Meath is this a very short summer and Armagh v Westmeath, will Westmeath behave themselves this year!!

meath or Tyrone (likely meath you'd have to say) out of the championship the day before the dubs play their 2nd championship game is absolutely wild...

I gI've London a chance against Louth.

mayo will cruise past limerick too.

kildare travelling to derry will be tough, a win for derry sends cian O'neill packing

Good draw for Tyrone always glad to meet non Ulster opposition. Two hard games with Meath the other times we met in the backdoor should concentrate the mind. Kildare v Derry & Westmeath v Armagh also catch the eye.

Happy enough with the draw but respect Limerick enough to know that any below par performance and you can be caught out.

Easy drive down too with the new motorway.

I hope Antrim's silly tactics and concicuences of them are taken on board ahead of the trip to Offaly. Giving Down free possession from their knockouts and having one man forward reeks of desperation. Down are hardly Dublin but they were given the best possible chance to look that way and so will Offaly if this timid crap continues. We have footballers that are better than that even if we aren't world beaters.

One of the players told the Irish News during the week that the manager was a huge Pep Gaurdiola fan. You see some of the sh#te we have to listen to.

You would make a good manager Yew ;)
It would take an absolute miracle for Limerick to get within 10 points of Mayo. There will be probably be 20 in it at least.

It is what it is. I was a little disappointed when draw was made (I really wanted either Kildare in navan or Westmeath in Mullingar) however on reflection this is exactly what Meath need. A chance of redemption, a chance to send the pre championship 3/4 fav packing. We will make navan the most inhospitable place to be if you on Tyrone panel (of course supporters will be welcomed with open arms and gracious meetings)
There is no hiding place. This Meath team are better than they have shown (why on the field it hasn't worked I have no idea) but it's time to s### or get off the pot .
Hon the royal

There won't be more than 7 or 8 hundred at that match from Limerick. It should be on in Newcastlewest where you might get more for the novelty of championship being on there. Hurling , Rugby and soccer are covering the bases in Limerick. The muck that is Gaelic Football at the moment just can't get people interested

Fair point. Should be in Newcastle west as the town could do with such a boost whereas the city who won't feel the benefit of 5 to 6 k who will be at it. Same crowd in Newcastle west would have more impact and probably a slightly bigger Limerick crowd (given it is the small football heartland) than if it was on in the Gaelic Grounds.
Of the others Kildare under serious pressure. They were on a crest of a wave 12 months ago. What has happened. Meath Tyrone will be tight but the Royals could have done with an easier tie. They don't seem to have the quality footballers we are led to believe but a run in the qualifiers would be a step in the right direction.

Kildare v Derry two sides desperately low on confidence. If either side gets a good start you would imagine they would push on & win from there.

I think sky have the rights to 1 qualifier from each round. I think.
They did it that way the past few years. And they have a huge fondness for mayo, so id imagine thatll be the chosen one

And not an exciting match-up amongst them all. Armagh Westmeath probably the pick

Surely they would show Meath Tyrone. Stand out tie of the round.

What can Newcastle west hold? Don't forget Mayo always bring a big traveling support.
