Na Fianna played the much better football in the second half. 4 points down at half time and then also went 3 down into the second half and went on to outscore Kells 6 points to 1 in the last 15 mins. Kells were shocked as were half the county. Major turnaround from the first game for them.

So you could say Kells bottled it in the last 20 mins??
Wonder will they get much abuse???

Replying To Royalblufill:  "Yeah - I would never have thought of Tones as naive but they were yesterday. They tried 3 different players on Conlon during the game and none had any real success. Cillies played much of the game with 14 men between the opposition 45 and their goal leaving Conlon loads of room. Cillies played with a sweeper in front of their full back line making it hard for Tones to get the ball into their full forward line. Surprising that Tones didn't drop their spare man back in front of Conlon!"
Tones line was slow there Shepard was loose man but he was pushing forward all the time left gaps for colmcilles to kick ball to conlon. Has serious pace that lad. Management slow for tones. But cilles were really well set up pace and moving ball caught tones out.deserved winners could have sat in this champship yet.

Tones will learn there lesson and be back for business end. Cilles I agree were really well setup, looked to be really well coached, they have pace in a lot of positions and I think Wolfe Tones were caught out and their management team very slow on the line. Can Cilles win the Championship. Well two games to date they are going to be hard to beat. I dont know about winning but they are dark horses in my view to go far and are really well drilled. Come the summer they could be different animal altogether. Cant rule them out from what i seen of them at weekend

Lads come on, to suggest that Tony Kearney is a naive coach shows serious lack of knowledge, his team lost by 1 point to a decent team, lets not get carried away, Fact remains that Tones will have major say in where the Keegan Cup ends up, Cilles are well organised, well coached team with some super players that will cause trouble to most teams they face. I don't think that they are ready to win championship yet, but with the serious underage structures they have they could be soon, I know people go on about last year and them not winning a game, but the games they lost were all very tight..... I think you will find that they got the closest all year to the Senior Champions on the scoreboard. And they contested a club all ireland last february, so basically had no time off....

I don't see any real surprises this weekend but Na Fianna are worth a shot against a flaky Skryne. Rathkenny could test Ratoath who are far too short at 1/8... Maybe Rathkenny are down a few regulars. Keogan? He wasn't playing against Moynalvey in the league a few back.

you could be right summerof09, but I do fancy skryne and I think Moynalvey are as good as out if they loose and may pull one out of the bag. In relation to Ratoath v rathkenny I was talking to a rathkenny man last week and he was saying that Brian meade would be missing if the game wasn't changed. As it is still going ahead as fixed, I assume he will not be available. If that is case Rathkenny have little hope, he is getting on now but is still a huge player at club level and as they havn't had Caolach Halligan for most of the year, i'm assuming he's still out. Don't know why Keoghan missed moynalvey play off but there was talk of him being injured with county back then, if he's missing as well, 1/8 might be very generous!! On another note , are the simonstown lads back from america?

Was at pairc tailteann none of the lads in America are back but it didn't matter senechalstown were awful, simonstown with a completely different team from the county final last year. What happened in the summerhill v curraha game? Surely no group of healthy men should be getting a hammering that bad!
