Replying To MillerX:  "Lot of lads living in the past here, Walterstown strongly tipped to beat Trim!!!

Dunsany to beat Vincent's? Did not happen folks. Surprise? Little one? Perhaps.

Cortown to beat Ballivor? Who predicted that? Somebody did! Fine him/her!!! No more predictions kid.

Ratoath, they won, back on track, maybe it was my kick up the proverbial after Pats that got them focused BUT will they win the return bout? Later when they meet Kiltale in the pure game (Lutch take note - you are on my radar as a one code purist)?"
you may elaborate

Replying To MillerX:  "Keep a cool head there! Cortown lost a man very early in the game, that Ballivor team is very young so they will have ignore such a stroll, tougher outings ahead. Remember you can not win a championship in May but you can sure loose it."
7-23 to 0-6. That's not a scoreline you see in championship football everyday so full credit to Ballivor. Cortown got a man sent off early but the writing was on the wall in Dunganny before that as they trailed by 1-3 to 0-1. Early days yet and Dunsany in the next game are the only team in Group B that will put it up to them. Get the money down on Ballivor to win it out.

Great victory for Ballinlough too. Posters on here were quick to write their obituaries after a run of losses in the league. The Lough are a solid championship team.

In the past on this site you criticized hurling and I was referring to the hurling between Ratoath and Kiltale later in the year.

Just ask kells who lost
Just as Na Fianna what that meant
How about curraha
Omahonys didn't care ..did not look like that to me
What about dunshaughlin losing with last kick
Big joe surely got a kick out of winning the game.
How about Bracky and mikes in nav
No too mention Meath Hill winning and Syddan looked pretty hurt when losing

Championship is championship 3x6 or 4x4 I don't think it would change much

Id imagine it meant a lot to Dunboyne too to finally get a result over Simonstown

So we might never agree. I believe that any community based organization has to be based on the principle of live and let live. You are no better than Gerry McEntee "burn the hurls" well let me tell you and McEntee that the last time that I seen the "olde royals countie" spirit was at both Christy Ring Finals in Croke Park in 2016 but of course you and your ilks would not understand that the the GAA is not about football, it is about Gaelic Games, yes plural, and customs and culture, that includes tolerance, even viewpoints.

By the way McEntee should have been reprimanded by the chairman of the meeting and told that this meeting was about ALL Gaelic Games.

See I believe that the true worth of any organization or society can be evaluated by how it treats its minorities.

Terrific win for Summerhill over Skryne , and fair play to Curraha as they fought out a draw with Navan O Mahonys. However game of the weekend was Wolfe Tones V St Colmcilles. I felt it was coaching master class from east coast boys to shut down the threat of the Tones. Colmcilles not finished article but they could have big say in destination of this years championship .

Cillies certainly celebrated when they beat Tones!

Great results for both Cilles and the Ha.
I think Cilles are seeing the benefit of having the winter off. They were not as bad as their points total showed last year.

Will there be any more championship games scheduled before the Leinster championship?

some real poor decision in the vincents dunsany game on friday for both sides. ref would barely let the players tackle each other without blowing. vincents fully deserved the victory both the biggest thing about it was that the game finished in near total darkness. st marys have adequate lights that werent switched on was dangerous for the players

some scoreline for ballivor they must have the full hurling contigent back from killyon and kildakey

Some great results and well earned celebrations over the weekend, while no medals given out this time of year, Championship is a massive deal for everyone, but all the training of the winter is done for these 2 rounds, winning means the world and losing is very tough to stomach (especially when it is unexpected).....now for the lull. Some huge crowds at the weekend... great to see,

Tones v Cilles was hardly a cracking game. Last 10 mins were exciting but it was a poor game of football. There were close to 30 wides kicked i believe. Cilles just about deserved it with a lot of help ftom the man in black. Conlon best player on view but i don't think Cilles will be anywhere to be seen come the business end of things.

The wind contributed to the amount of scoreable chances kicked wide. Anyway poor game management cost the Tones. How did they leave Conlon one on one for the entire game?
