half time teams are level. Galway will need all the luck in the second half if they are to win. Gaillimh abú

It's like a game of chess out there with both teams cagey on the attack. A goal would rip this wide open.

Very impressed by the maturity our lads have shown so far.

How easy do Dublin get frees? Single handedly keeping them in this game

What is that referee on? Incredibly poor performance. What do GALWAY have to do to get a free?

Shocking, absolutely shocking display by the ref, no wonder players and supporters do lose the head with some decisions

Well done to both teams, Galway for playing well and Dublin for winning with the 14 men. Galway can be happy enough I think.

I agree 100%. Like what do Wicklow owe Dublin that was a joke out there today!

Galway very unlucky, not many teams can keep with Dublin for that long in a big game with not too much big match experience to date. No doubt they will go far this year. Although I have to say there are a different set of rules for the Dubs to the rest of the country but ah well...

Poor refereeing. Some ridiculous decisions given to Dublin.

Galway tried to deploy negative tactics in the last fifteen minutes and it back fired.

No shame in that defeat. Sometimes you get the breaks and sometimes you don't. Roll on May 13!
Impressive workrate from the Dubs in the last few minutes, but Not much between the teams at all.

Well done to all.

Happy enough with that. There were plenty of media pundits predicting that our poor lads would get eaten alive by the Dubs in Croke Park. Roll on the championship!

Another close game gifted to Dublin by the ref. Everything in the last 15 mins went their way. Very classy of kilkenny feigning that head injury.

When are we going to see a match where the ref is clearly biased against Dublin in Croker? Because it's always the opposite. This is the biggest advantage playing all their big games in Dublin. The majority of fans will always be behind them and will pressure the ref into an uneven display.

Football is at an all time low now with Dublins grip on all trophies worse then when kerry were dominant. At least the hurling seems to be going the opposite way.
