Galway Vs Limerick

Galway got clean out in the backs so that's a big worry for me. Limerick did what Galway did to Waterford in leauge last year. Good luck drive on now limerick. For Galway they were in cruise control and fell asleep all Ireland champions can be a hard title to hold on today's performances a lot of worried Galway fans

We'll put it this way, if galway meet Limerick in championship. Galway will win. They're really not too bothered about playing in 1A

As a passion Galway supporter with many friends we are saddened not to get out of 1b . Galway went out to win today .

Well done Limerick. They needed win more than us. But ffs, this was poor stuff from Galway hurlers. "Strolling around" the pitch. J.C sideline cut in last minute, barely left the ground. From a man who has put them over from the half way line in the last 5 years!

The way this game unfolded was eerily similar to the Galway-Waterford quarter final last year. Well done to Limerick.

Get a grip. It was Joe's and Davey Burke's first bit of action tbis year and Daithi Burke has to come in at full back.

Agreed. Galway were beaten because Limerick were simply the better team. They were far superior in the second half. A lot of work to do for our lads. Congrats to Limerick on promotion.

You could say it was more similar to the Wexford game in the league last year. Winning by 7 or 8 points and cruising and end up losing by a point.

Fairly poor form for some of the "fans" to be leaving before the end with only a point or two in it.

Great boost for limerick
It's not the worst result in the world for galway. They'll know now that they're fitness levels are that bit behind the pack and the game will bring them on no end. It was the first time this year they seemed to have close to a full team out too. I wouldn't be too concerned if I was a galway person. We won't know where they are at for a few months anyway
Was more important for limerick that they got promoted and it's the right timing for them too. I feel over the last few years that 1A wouldn't have done them any favours but now like wexford this year they're definitely a coming team hopefully ready to start challenging

Delighted for Limerick. It just shows what they can do when they put their mind to it. Limerick - as nearly always - will be a force in the championship.

I agree, the Limerick player who interfered with Touhys' helmet should have seen the line.

Indeed, Wexford will be on goolie alert next Sunday after that.

Rubbish. Galway wanted to win that game yesterday in order to get promoted.I wouldn't be too confident of the result if they were to meet again either, certainly not as confident as you seem to be.

Having not actually witnessed any of the incident, but having read several articles on said incident, I have to say I'm outraged.
