All Ireland Club Final 2018

(Oldest Posts First)

That time of year again folks and surprise surprise it is Corofin once again in the all ireland club final - what a club I must add. Surprised there is very little talk about it on here, hence why I started this forum. How does everyone feel it will go?

Some interesting matchups looking to happen, with the mighty 'Fitz' up against his old rival O'Se. Both proving that age is just a number with motm awards in the semi's. Looking forward to seeing Daithi Burke back in HQ for the first time since showcasing his heroics in September as he helped Galway win the All Ireland, only it was with the small ball!

Any Predictions for the game? Hopefully Corofin can do it at plus 2 at 5/4, a great bet I got in my local bookies in Ballybane. It would be great for Galway to see Corofin cross the Shannon with the Bob O'keefe cup once again.

I echo your sentiments galwayman. An outstanding club for Galway and their parish. The majority of football people will want them to win Paddys day. Hopefully this will drive on the county team for even more silverware in 2018.

Interesting to see what they can do with 15 on the field for an hour!

Best of luck, Galwayman. Corofin are a very balanced side - no obvious weaknesses. Nemo on the other hand are relying on Kerrigan, Luke Connolly and Gumley - but doubts about his fitness. Has to be Corofin by 3/4 points.

Corofin to win by the narrowest margin but only if they shackle Luke Connolly who makes Nemo tick up front. Nemo have a lot of older players & Croke Park will expose their fitness levels. The younger Nemo guys don't have the same experience that Corofin have & Corofin are more balanced & experienced as a whole. The turn overs & bad decision making by two of the Galway panelists in the semi final will have to be eradicated for Paddy's Day as there is no room for individual glory. This game will be won by lads like Dylan Wall coming to the fore as he did in the semi final. If Corofin play that wide brand of football with quick foot passing to the inside lines using the full width of Croke Park & shackle Luke Connolly I expect them to win.

I think with Galway s good run this game is slightly coming in under the radar. Cant wait, I believe we will win and bring the Club title back to Galway.
