Gerald Fleming was on Sunday Sport on Radio One earlier. He wasasked what sporting organisations regularly make contact with Met Eireann. Unsurprisingly Horse Racing is the organisation that keeps most in close contact with them looking for updates. He said the GAA weren't in regular contact, moreso for one off games. He put that down to the hardy nature of GAA players and supporters going to games in all sorts of weather. The Pigeon Racing authorities contact them more than the GAA!
