"There Are Signs Of An Agenda Against Tyrone"

Replying To IrishGael3:  "No harm to you - you're judging Tyrone by something that happened a long time ago to your county and some Down people don't seem to get over it. The problem with this team is their style and if anything they lack cynicism - the game against the Dubs last year needed someone to upset the blues - a cynical tackle or brawl - but don't think they have it in them. So don't take this unrelated biased view of Tyrone to start this broad brush labelling of this current set up - it's lazy commentary!"
Yeah, but no Down man will ever feel anything other than superior to us Tyrone bogmen. Don't expect too much objectivity from the Mournemen.

I took this photo myself - this is how Mayo (a free-flowing, much-lauded Southern team) defended a Tyrone attack:

Of course it has. Old news. I lived in Dublin for 15 years. The partitionist mentality is everywhere, in both parts of Ireland. You don't need RTÉ maps with the North deleted to realise that.

In 02, Tyrone were well beaten by Sligo; but hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your opinions. eh?

Employing tactics like having a player run across the eye line of a free taker doesn't he[p if you want to be popular

Beagan took 4 long range frees off the ground tonight. each time a player (usually Number 7) ran diagonally across in front of him. Only saying what I saw or is that not allowed lest you be accused of having an agenda against Tyrone?
He scored 3 of them btw.

It's sad that that's the case - I could point out a dozen incidents with other teams including the top teams as bad over past few years and nobody brings them up as much - this is what creates this "everyone has an agenda against Tyrone" propaganda - so instead of criticising Tyrone fans for their paranoia, people like you should accept the fact that you are fuelling it.

Well if you still haven't found it then don't call yourself a GAA man. There's always twitter and the radio.

I think the writing is on the wall for Mickie Harte. For God's sake cut the shackles of your young team and let them express themselves and play football and not have them playing boring stuff that's not going to win games. This is proven over this past couple of weeks.

There you go - you've just unmasked yourself - it's a Tyrone thing and not the style which everyone is at and have been for a while!

When you've been in a job as long as Mickey Harte has it's natural for people to question his ability to still be the man in charge. Tyrone have won the last 2 Ulster titles, hard to believe that leaving Clones last July there would now be a significant number of people unhappy with him. But that Dublin game cut deep. Tyrone went thinking they had a chance and were so soundly beaten that it was a reality check for them. I think what fans are looking for in this league are signs that Tyrone have taken steps to close that gap and so far there are none. Personally I don't think Tyrone have the forwards to trouble the top teams.

No agenda. just tactics that are from yesteryear and not easy on the eye.
