Can't keep missing scorable chances. Costs you big at this level. Disappointing result.

How predictable was that? Any other county would have sent Tyrone packing today. Kildare football has become a bad, self destructing joke at this stage. Missed frees, suicidal kickouts and a steadfast refusal to track back and defend. Two major issues here: Management hasn't got a clue how to set out a defence and no footballer in the county has anything resembling composure in a pressure situation.

The forwards need to take on their men more and take on their scores. Brophy andcDaniel Flynn should be scoring a lot more than they are. Not onee goal chance created today. Don't kniw why McCormack and Moolick were taken off before a couple of others. Goodvto see Keith Cribbin back. 2 games now lost by a single point.

Encouraging performance against a so called top 4 team. Were not grtting the breaks at the moment but confident things will come good come summer. Some people need to remember its still early February.

In fairness they're at least competitive. 2 one point losses to 2 seasoned division 1 teams. Hard to see them staying up now. Really need to be scoring goals to have any chance.

Enjoyable game teams were evenly matched. Feely cost kildare very bad miss towards the end. Why was McCormack taken off? Conway, Doyle and cribben were very good today.

No idea why Ben was taken off, he was playing better than a couple of forwards. Not afraid to have a go. Doyle was good as usual. Thought Conway faded in second half.

Not so long ago we flattened your lot as we flattered.

A draw would have been a fair result, but i have to say the point by Mattie Donnelly was really exceptional. The TV angle in Newbridge is low it appears closer to goal than it was. Feeley missed one free in fairness he was good from play and scored a lot. The goal was a real sickener, bad defending. I thought Tyrone would pull away with the wind so at least Kildare dug in and played well enough.
Good game given the conditions

Your too harsh on your team.........a 1 point win next time and confidence will flow and when it does...... will do so big time

We haven't been too far off esp in the two home games but it's a sickener to lose both by a point. Think we lack that extra bit of grit, killer instinct, smarts or whatever you want to call it at this level. Won't get any easier going to Donegal after their really good performance last night. We are still carrying the ball into trouble and getting turned over too often. Love to see us launch the odd long ball instead of carrying everything into packed defences. Brophy and Flynn are big lads, it's surely a better option than being predictable. No goal chances to speak of in two home games either while we conceded in both. Hopefully it's a learning curve for the lads, either way it's still good to be playing in div 1. And while it's become difficult, survival ain't gone yet.

The last two years we've walked through the league and despite losing along the way to the likes of Sligo and Derry we achieved promotion easily - none of that really mattered when it came to the summer.

There's probably a case for arguing that we've gone up to division 1 a year too soon and it's proving to be a steep learning curve for what's still a relatively young team. We're still making some basic mistakes and still doing some of the same stupid stuff we've been making for a few years now. The difference though is that we're now making them against some of the best teams in the country and still coming out on a narrow side of a loss.

I think we'd all much prefer to be losing a tight game against a seasoned division 1 team like Monaghan or back to back Ulster champions like Tyrone over hammering the likes of Tipp, Fermanagh or Meath.

Still expect us to make a Leinster final at least.

This time for Tyrone an inexperienced defence uncharacteristically sloppy organisation with bad marking and weak midfield (in terms of competing with strength) nearly cost the game coupled with McAliskey's usual funk in front of goal at half time Great scores from Brennan Donnelly and McShane give hope ( surpizingly Sludden mused 3 relatively easy chances too ).
Colm Cavanagh a massive loss re leadership, organising role and power but some signs of life nonetheless thank goodness.
