The league is on this weekend and I think everybody here is pretty excited. I said I'd put up a general thread for cross division discussion and debate. Who do we think will win it all and who is looking at promotions and relegation. SlipperyDodger (Cork) - Posts: 93 - 23/01/2018 19:14:43 2070197 Link 0 |

Galway and Kildare are rightly favourites to go down, with 2 from Roscommon, Cork and Cavan to go back up.. Truth is those 5 teams are very even, all have recent enough experience in div 1 and have proper underage structures in place last 10 yrs or so to sustain at least and improve their current position, (Cork could up their game a bit maybe at underage). The main goal of these 5 should be to to knock either Donegal, Monaghan or Tyrone of their perch and hold div 1 status for the medium long term and not keep yo yo-ing between the 2 divisions.. Not easy but it's Kildare and Galways turn to challenge this year.. cuttothebone (Kildare) - Posts: 163 - 23/01/2018 23:14:20 2070243 Link 0 |

Division 3: Promoted: Fermanagh/Cavan I don't think that you will get any odds on Cavan being promoted neverright, seeing that they are in Division 2. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 2990 - 24/01/2018 20:21:14 2070436 Link 1 |

League Sunday will be jammed with hurling and football tonight at 9:30. When was the last time the hurling and football leagues started the same weekend, hutlrling usually a few weeks later? RTE should put a second highlights show on the player, of games they can't show highlights for, tonight. GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 7345 - 28/01/2018 13:36:01 2071317 Link 0 |
