I don't see the fuss about Brian Conlon to be honest, I think he is a good player but far from a certain starter and is a bit erratic in his play and lose for a centre back. Brian Power is a far better six and will be the first choice six going forward I would say.

Its a Very Small Half Forward Line lacks Physicality,James McEntee is perfect for Wing Half Forward Brennan Deserves another shot at it as Does Joey but not in That Half Forward line..Leave Conlan at 6 Keoghan is well Young enough to "do the running".OReilly has done very little to keep starting!! Base of a decent team and Plenty could come in but I see your Point in Picking it on this year,,

Because Graham Reilly , Cillian OSullivan ,James McEntee, Harry Rooney ,Donal Lenihan 100% Have to start"
I'm basing the team I picked over the last three games if I am being honest we have no half forwards who are clever with their use of the ball. McEntee gave away too much possession cheaply yesterday, I would rather see a kick pass 40 yard go wrong than a 10 yard hand pass. Toner is not the answer a center forward while Cillian O Sullivan keeps running into trouble with the ball and we still have no idea of Kennelly's best position. Reilly is going to start first round of the league but he needs to get the finger out.
Keoghan would be better at holding the center. Conlon like to drive with the ball and as it was mentioned before we need a Ger Brennan player who just sits. If Power is at his best then I would have him at 6 with Keoghan and Conlon on the wings but he has been hit and miss for the last year or so.
O Reilly is still young and will improve with better players around him plus himself and McMahon were far too deep in the first half yesterday which suited neither of them.

Yeah no reason why we couldn't have power at 6 and Keoghan and Conlan either side !! Always liked Power would have no problem seeing him start

No idea, bit of a joke to be honest. GAA have no consideration for people what so ever, this just proves it.

True. But isn't it been shown on t v ? I think that's reason for venue.

There is a double header on in Portlaoise on Sunday. Before the Meath match at 2.00 pm An Ghaeltacht from Kerry are playing Moy Tir Na nOg from Tyrone in the All Ireland Inter football semi-final.

I agree with all of people saying it shows disrespect to both teams to have the game played in Loais. And the time 4 bells what the story with that ? I am not going to make the game anyway.

Wonder what price they will charge into the game now that it is a double header?

From todays Indo. Meath refused change of venue to Mullingar

As a consequence, the Meath management are understood to be weighing up their options with regard to fulfilling the fixture which is to take place in Portlaoise on Sunday at 4pm.
