Meath v Wicklow

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I suspect a fair few changes, I'd go as far as to say at least half the team that lined out last night won't on Sunday, likely more.
Looking forward to it. And hopefully a big home crowd.

Would like to see McKeever starting, any explanation why he didn't vs Carlow. Be good to see Rooney and Keogan involved too.

He picked up an injury, I'm lead to believe we won't be seeing Keoghan until halfway through the league...

I can't wait till this is confirmed, I stated this about a month ago and was laughed at saying I didn't want McEntee as the manager.

What's the reason Barney? Work or Academic commitments?

Keoghan is gone until his studies are finished which is most likely the Championship as most colleges courses/Masters finish up around April/May time. He won't be seen in the league unless its the last game at best. And it's pure study reasons, nothign to do with management!!

I heard it was neither but obviously ratlag has heard differently from what I was told. Will definitely be back so there is no issue with the management.

Keoghan...work or academic reasons for not committing. Does the reason matter?

Anybody know what he ate for breakfast this morning?

I love this, lads saying he isn't playing because of whatever reason BUT the real reason is THE MANAGEMENT, it's the same reason why the other lads aren't going back.

I see the game is live here (for a few Euro) for anybody abroad or unable to make it.

GaaApps.com ... had some stats on the Meath GAA twitter page the other night.

It's only a question. No need for such a snidey response.

Looking forward to tomorrows game, nice crisp winters day in Pairc Tailteann.

Between the panel for Wednesday's game and tomorrow there is the makings of a decent team for the league in my opinion.

Great to see Harry back and the new players along with those that continued on from before. Good to see Joey Wallace involved, he was exposed a bit too much too young under Mick O'Dowd. As previously mentioned Keoghan is still there in spite of the rumours to the contrary. I will be interested to see how Mark McCabe gets on in the CHF position.

Just one question, Cillian O'Sullivan hasnt been named in either panel, anyone know any reason for this?

Maybe O'Sullivan is injured, but he is 120% on the panel I saw him train with them 3-4 weeks ago.

We all have varied opinions, but it's amazing the way some are waiting with their pitchforks in the hope that it all goes wrong.
Incredible attitude ..
