Win the Anglo Celt and give the youth plenty of game time, even if it means getting relegated from Div.1 if it pays off in the championship or gives us a new, effective option I don't mind , a year in Div.2 could be good experience too , Worked for Tyrone a few years back

Reading the previous posts is it too much to ask that people who use LOL develop a sense of humour themselves in 2018? Or a bit of cop on even.

If I have any hope for 2018 it's the same as I have every year : that the people who run sport every now & then decide to put morals & the good of their sport ahead of money. It won't happen but you have to keep hoping....
(obviously not just the GAA.....sick & tired of reading about hypocrisy & lies at the top of every sport....cycling, soccer, athletics, tennis, you name it....they're almost all the same.)

A Dublin clean sweep in all codes and genders.

For Kildare to stay in Div 1 and make the Leinster Final and Super 8s. Anything after that is bonus territory.

I want the Galway Footballers and Hurlers to win all possible matches and Conor McGregor to get back to UFC and win. I'd like to see Connacht destroy all in rugby and Galway United win the UEFA. I'd like to see McIlroy win the Masters but Phil Mickelson win the other 3 majors.

The Deise to win the McCarthy cup after a 59 year wait. Too long for a county with such a hurling tradition. It would add to the sweetness having the "Brick" on board. A true legend who does not always get the recognition he should. However there are no guarantees. If not hopefully some other long waiting team and if not Galway for a repeat.

Yes. Happy New Year to you.
Footballers favourites to win All Ireland, but anything could happen, think 2014. Dublin hurlers will give Leinster a real go, but not All Ireland winners.

Would love to see Dublin make the hurling final.

In football I hope to see the squad continue to develop and evolve have high hopes for a few young players next year and with less rest time between games that could be important. Would also like to have successful at minor and U21.

At intercounty level, no hope left. Main goal is for the local club to win the co title.

If Tyrone can not win the All Ireland how about a Kildare v Mayo final.

Meath to win obc div 2 Leinster and all ire. Same as every year those are my hopes.
Realistically blood the huge new players coming in in the obc (panel of 41) see can we find some gems. Promotion has to be the ultimate goal, we have thrown it away too many times in the recent past.
Leinster? Get over Longford and face Dublin ( everyone knows that Meath only team in Leinster that can actually give them a challenge) and not be clapping ourselves on the back for getting hammered by 9 points.
I'll take anything after that. Should we win it would be great to get one over westmeath in Leinster final. :)

Down here we're hoping the footballers can get back into Division 1 and beat Kerry in Munster. We're hoping the hurlers can build on last year and not slide away now again under new management.
