How are Lomans shaping up for Sunday?
Simonstown sound like a very strong outfit. Hopefully Lomans don't get ahead of themselves. A Meath victory in Mullingar is the last thing we want.

Why wouldn't it be?

Indeed, members of my own extended family have played on the two sides in the past so there will be bragging rights! Best of luck to both teams but I do hope that Loman's pull it off. Hon the blues!

Lomans were magnificent after a terrible start seven points down Paddy Dowdall is a true warrior. The naysayers are getting their answer.Multy Leinster champions,Lomans in Leinster final and St Marys narrowly defeated away to the eventual champions. Not too much wrong with Westmeath football.

Can't disagree with that. And, also even with heslin having an off day kicking frees the other players stepped up and got the scores. Almost all their scores were from play in second half.

Fair play Lomans. You have to hand it to them, a great win rewarded with a place in the Leinster Final. Another great boost for the county and they have a great chance v Moorefield. Now maybe the entire county will get behind them ?

The entire county rarely gets behind the county team, never mind a club!

They have a great chance, although Moorefield will probably be favourites. Have come through the harder side of draw and have players on their team who have won Leinster before. Dempsey's knowledge of Moorefield will surely help. Loman's won't get away with another poor start though.

Fair play to lomans, a serious side! Believe me that was not the easier side of the draw simonstown have been flying and that was an almighty battle today that will stand to lomans. Hard to have complaints but hard not questions how in such a clean game simonstown had 1 scorable free whereas lomans got 7 or 8 from frees?

Heslin scored two of the best frees I have seen scored in Cusack Park one from the left touchline and one from the right under pressure in awful conditions. They will need to start quicker in the semi-final. Meath team very poor in second half or maybe they went out too fast. Great to get to a final.

I would not agree Moorfield came through the hard side of the draw defeated the champions of two division 4 counties.Mullinalachta and Simonstown are two good sides every bit as strong as Portlaoise and Rathnew

Was at the game totally agree the Lomans owe a lot to the ref in the first half esp they got 3 if not 4 handy frees simonstown weren't getting when it was 1-4 to 0-0 to keep them in the game,
Simomstown gassed in the second half and once Lomans got in front there was only one winner
I have to say they held the game out very well but they owe a lot to the ref also from the early stages....

Chops if this were the case you will be able to tell me of the numerous Leinster club championships won by
Teams from division 3 and four counties.
