Based on the successes achieved this past year by our senior team, are there any young prospects who should be given a go at senior level to drive us forward for this season's championship?

Cant see any new young lads breaking into the starting team this year. We are a very very young squad as it is and and a years more experiance under their belts. Lads returning like the Dalys and both Creggs could be the lads to break into team and push us on.

Philip Neilan and aungus lyons have been brought in duno if there good enough to make the grade. Both have good pedigree in under age football. Id like to see the dowd lad from western gaels brought in as part oof the development panel

I have seen dowd playing a few times this year and he is definitely one to watch..very intelligent footballer and has a well rounded game.

S Killoran,C Lavin,G Patterson,T O Rourke,B Stack,C Fitzmaurice made their debuts at senior debuts this year.

Loads of young talented prospects coming through from clubs such as Strokestown,Pearses,Clann na ngael,Brigids,Tulsk,Oran,Glaveys etc but with the U21 grade gone and no longer allowed onto two championship panels those players will be nurtured at U20 level before getting fast tracked to senior level.

Maybe wrong but I think he is still u20 this year and if so he should be left with that panel to develop

Also Mc Stay has a lot of time for Cian Mc Keon from Boyle, could make a breakthrough

Probably another that should be left with U20s to develop however he should get a run out with the seniors in the spring time before the decision is made on what panel he should be on.

I'm a boyle man and without a doubt cian is a played who should be given a chance this year. Alot of people don't understand how strong this lad is and I think he would have no problems playing a roll this year.

I would love to see new players get a chance like Cian mcKeown from Boyle. Tradionally when Ros were at there peak, Clan, Bridget's, and Castlerea were to the fore.
Are there any players from these clubs, with young players showing promise ?

As far as im aware, glaveys currently have 2 players on county panel. Patterson and fitzmaurice. O'malley left before mayo game.
Conor hussey might get a call up.

Andrew Glennon seems to be a real talent.Hope he can commit to Roscommon for 2018.What about Cathal Heneghan of Glaveys. What age group is he.Willie Hegarty was full of praise for him in commentary last Sunday.

Cathal Heneghan is 18 a county minor this year and he should be a starter for the county U20s next year along with his team mate Liam Cregg.

Great to see the county board have their priorities in order. Big presentation Friday night and not enough medals to go round. Fairly pathetic
