Aye it would be good although I like that Declan is gone out on his own to cut his teeth at club level, there is something about him, he's like a man possessed and well self driven.

Crokes had a handy win as well today against kilmurry ibricane only downer was a bad injury to Shane Murphy, hopefully it isn't too serious and Shane will be back for the Munster final against Nemo .

Yes, a very impressive display by all accounts. But I assume Nemo will be a much stiffer test. Buckley was meant to have had a great game, why don't we see the same from him in a Kerry jersey that we see with his club. Do Crokes just know how to utilise his talents better?

Was listening to all the club action while out enjoying the fine winters day, some great excitement in many of the games.

Lads, does anyone know what Jack's son, Eanna, is doing playing with Moorefield? Is he working up in Kildare or in college or something? He seemed to be by far and away the best player on the pitch. Surely a player of his talent should be on the South Kerry panel? Did he ever feature at underage or anything for Kerry?

Ya the hermit Buckley like a lot of the crokes players are an enigma , bucks on any given day could destroy any team or disappear into the background, really lacking consistency like Mikey geaney.

As for eanna o'Connor and his brother Cian as far as I know they are both teachers in Kildare, eanna played minor and U21 for Kerry don't know did cian play intercounty, eanna scored the winning goal in the hogan cup final in 2009 with the last kick against edenderry.

It was a cracker of a goal.

Thanks for that Kingdomboy, he looked so good yesterday I was wondering was he a player that slipped through the net before we got our act together underage.

I don't know did he slip through the net ! He'd probably be better than Barry john Keane and he's a very decent free taker, he's 25 ish now so I'd say maybe that ship has sailed but I think Kildare had him in training with their intercounty team last year so we might see more of him in the league depending how far moorefield get in the competition.
