Loman's were quite poor today actually. Mullinalaghta were cruising 5 or 6 points up well-into the second half...thought they had it won & gave away silly frees from their own kick-outs & a needless penalty, all of which Heslin converted.

Of the 4 football club sides left in Leinster Simonstown Gaels are the weakest i think. Meath clubs have an abysmal record in Leinster Club. Laois, Wicklow, Carlow, Westmeath, so called lesser counties have a far better tradition. easil (Antrim) - Posts: 4 - 12/11/2017 21:28:41 2061945 Link 4 |
Of those counties only Carlow have better tradition in club football than Meath with Eire Og wining 5 leinsters

Our National broadcaster this morning told the Nation that Simonstown and Mullinalachta have a great chance of winning Leinster.

On RTÉ 2fm Radio this morning Keith Walsh told listeners that Derrygonnelly were among the winners yesterday in his club championship round up. Gave three of the four Leinster quarter-final results and forgot about Connacht.

Today FM rarely mention any GAA results in Ulster. The Ulster senior Camogie and Hurling finals never got a mention at all

Good man RD... Your dislike of Westmeath has been shown again for the second time on this thread. Why don't you move out of Castledaly and back to wonderful Meath! You clearly don't rate Sharry, Dempsey, the O'Toole's, Whelan, Flanagan or Casey. I expect you actually haven't heard of half of these players so perhaps do a little more research next time.. Rathnew have proven that once the Dubs are taken out of the Pale they are vulnerable, disoriented and unable for the bog ball! baire (Galway) - Posts: 1803 - 14/11/2017 13:37:37 2062271 Link 0 |
It's the fault of all those terrible heavy pitches don't you know!

Poor Derrygonnelly, score 17 times to 7 and still lose, disaster. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8592 - 19/11/2017 21:37:43 2063038 Link 3 |
Great win for Gort today. 5 or 6 different scorers. Trump2020 (Galway) - Posts: 2120 - 19/11/2017 22:29:07 2063039 Link 0 |
