Patrick Rankins are Newry/Clonduff.......Cuchulainns are Bredagh/Carryduff.......I'm assuming a Liatriom will have Castlewellan and Ballela lads playing with them as they certainly dud in the minors despite being ' listed' as Liatriom

Rankins v Liatriom won't be on that Sunday due to u21 football, likely be played Wednesday 1st instead.........think couple of Point lads will also be involved in Rankins now as well

A big win for the Crans yesterday in the first u21 match. Was that not a bit of a surprise?

Liatriom/ORahillys beat Rankins handy, something like 4-20 to 1-13.......they will be hard to stop, the few Castlewellan and Ballela lads help beef up their team and they don't really have any weak links to be fair......we were missing a few tonight hopefully get them back for the next game bar the likes of Ruairi Campbell etc that are in Oz for the year

That Liatroim team would have been Minor Champions 3 years ago (beat ballygalget I think), so if they managed to keep their group together you would've expected them to be the team to beat

If Cuchulian's get a full turn out they should win tomorrow night's game handy enough! Saying that, they are an unknown quantity at this time! Tough one to call!

Ports are shocking ATM and are the reason they're going to struggle at senior for the next while.

Ballygalget are struggling for numbers again from what I'm being told.

At u21s the Ards teams should be way ahead of the rest jew to playing senior league in Antrim. Nobody else can bring young fellas along like that.

I'm sure time will tell Paudie! Again, Bredagh/C/duff are an unknown quantity! Wouldn't rule them out if I were you!

Don't think anyone would doubt that Carryduff and Bredagh together should be a good team, let's not forget they are two of the top 3 clubs in Ulster in terms of club members so they certainly have numbers and some fine hurlers to boot......the issue is you said they would beat O Rahillys 'handy', they may well beat O Rahillys as the u21 championship often depends on what team gets their players out and who has lads away travelling or at college but I stand by my original point that O Rahillys won't be beaten handily by anyone.......on Wednesday night Pearse Og and young Oisin were exceptional along with Ryan Courtney from Newry hopefully see these lads get a real run with the seniors this year along with lines if Fisher, Coulter etc....give the young lads their chance, young Oisin fine hurler people just need to give the kid a break

Was at the O' Rahillys game tonight, and the scores are in! think they won by 9 in the end, decent game of Hurling, a bit tighter than the scoreline would suggest!! Bredagh/Duff looked very rusty! was told they were missing 4/5 of their starting 15 through injury etc! O' Rahillys played with a bit more confident in the last 15 minutes of the second half, which aloud them to rack up 5 scores without any response! Saying that, if Bredagh/Duff get their act together for the next few games they could be in with a shout of the silverware!

Crans bate the Galgets by a point in a poor enough game

Surprising result no??? Think it's O Rahillys to lose, hard to see anyone beating them.........means the winners of Rankins v Cuchulainns play Ballycran in semi final and winners of Galgets v Ports play O Rahillys.......

I agree. Bring the youth through and give them a bloody chance too much expected of them if they have a bad game for once.
