Hopefully Morris recovers from his knock, if so we'll have options from the bench no matter what 15 starts

Mcgovern, tomkins and Harry Kehoe all made positive contributions on Saturday and Rory was there if needed

In honesty I dont have any time for Chins off field stuff. Too much media stuff puts a bullseye on your back, and gives people a stick to beat you with. You can make money from the gaa without doing an interview every second day! However its his life so let him at it.

That said id still play him! He is playing poorly but has more to offer than our bench. Starting Liam Og would be based on what he did before more so than Chin.

Match up wise Rory at centre forward is a must. He will destroy Cleary, who i think is the worst centre back in the top 8 teams.

I think Jack O will have a big roll along with chin dropping into midfield to shut down Galvin and Kellys long shots, which can big killer if they find their range!! Thats why i think both will start.

cleary worst centre back of the top 8 he was outstanding v limerick.
him and mcinerney are going to be a big test for our forwards.
funny i read richie power on rte yesterday,he said john conlon said that for him the best thing to do was switch off from hurling, not let it define your life and that is why he is going so well. him and liam ryan will be one mighty battle.

This is our chance to make an all Ireland semi. For the last 3 quarters for me we were outsiders

V limerick ( 4 matches in 4 weeks rank outsiders )
V Waterford ( beat a bad cork team on the way. A team in transition. Rank outsiders)
V Waterford ( for me for us to win last year we had to be near perfect and Waterford have an off day. Slight chance of a win. Turns out got beaten by all Ireland finalists)

V clare. Two teams who are extremly similar. Both have had some good periods and some awful periods. Where I think we can catch clare is our physical presence. Every munster match I have watched while the hurling has been good the hits haven't been anything like galway v wexford kilkenny v wexford and galway v kilkenny.

It's a 50/50 game. I have never been chins biggest fan ( sometimes I have been over critical of him) but honestly believe we need him for this game.

We can argue over venues and times but at the end of the day we have a real chance of making an all Ireland semi. Be it at the match, a pub or a house it's time to get the colours out. We have the beating of this clare team.

Lads Chin was our top scorer from play v Kilkenny bar Paul Morris. He sets a high standard for himself that he hasn't reached this year to date but even still he is one of Wexford's top 2/3 forwards.

Talk of starting McGovern instead of Chin is laughable, he hasn't started a match in 16months. I hope to god he gets back to the unreal form of 2014 but that's 4yrs ago and from what I saw against Galway he is well off the pace.

I'd start Rory O Connor in full forward, David mcinerney struggled on Pat Horgan in the Munster final and Rory's pace and low centre of gravity might work. It would also free up Conor Mac to start wing forward on Jamie Shanahan who won't destroy him for pace. Conor MAC has the ability to clean any back who does not severely out pace him.

Negating Tony Kelly is a big fear of mine as I feel there is a back lash coming from him. Might try Kevin foley on him but I'd be very fearful if he started centre forward on o Hanlon as it is a sever mismatch.

Finally I hope Jippo cleans out Conlon and gets the recognition he deserves nationally. To date he has stopped Walter Walsh and Johnny Glynn in champo and harnedy, Conor Cooney, Shane Bennett and Conlon in the league. He is brilliant in my opinion and doesn't get recognition due to sweeper system!

It's a 50-50 game and Wexford have every chance of winning.

I'll give you a few positives why Wexford have every chance of winning on Saturday.
1. Our form is better than we have been given credit for. Wexford are better than this years championship results indicate as we're the only championship team standing who had to play 4 weeks in a row. The two teams that have beaten us in this years championship are the current all-ireland champions and the current league champions(which we were very close to beating in their home ground playing our fourth weekend on the trot).
2. We're better as underdogs, as the bookies have clare at odds on 2/5.
3. I'd take Pairc Ui Caoimh over Thurles any day of the week. We've little baggage playing in Cork and Clare have played there as little as we have. We played in Pairc Ui Caoimh last year, so we know the dressing rooms/pitch/set up etc
4. Davy knows Clare and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
5. I also have a question mark over how Clare will do in a physical battle. Two years ago, I saw first hand a big physical Galway side dominate them. Wexford are a big side too, so maybe this could be in our favour.

By the way, where's a well known spot in Cork to meet up with somebody other than the gates of pairc ui caoimh?

Up Wexford!

Im a bit surprised that you picked both McGovern and Dunne and then say "pick on form not on what a lad did before"
Chin was arguably our best forward against Kilkenny and as well as scoring 3 points he made the goal - thats the most recent form that counts. Nowadays one needs guys who can win their own ball. Chin is definitely one of those. Tbf to Jack OC he on a good day can also. He was poor against Westmeath but I can see very strong tactical reasons for Davy going with him on Saturday.

Hi, just looking for advice re: parking for match. Last year we parked good bit out of city centre (just across from the pitch but on other side of river) and was too far of walk with kids. Any recommendations for best car park for ease of getting in and out. thanks..

Jacko had a great game against Clare in the league alright but i dont think he should start this week. He hasnt performed of late. Personally i think it's because he isn't played in his best position. Id like to see him play midfield. I think he could bring added intensity to the game if brought on with around 20 minutes to go. Legs would start to tire and he could really impose himself on the game. Im looking for a big performance out of Kevin Foley this weekend, i dont think he was his great self vs Galway or Kilkenny. I really hope he shows how good he is this weekend.

This game will be the game where our players can get the recognition they deserve. Most of the country will have seen not much of us as we weren't deemed good enough to be shown by rte. We go to the game and know how good our lads are. We have in my opinion the best full back in the country in Ryan. Paudie Foley is unbelievable. He is without doubt one of the top wong backs in ireland if not the best. Rory is the most exciting talent ive seen produced by wexford in a long time. I really hope they go out and perform. Perform and get the win because there performance will he forgotten about a week after a loss. Our lads are as good as the rest of the country. Its time they are noticed. No one in the media has them down to beat Clare. Most of our own county dont even think we will win. I really hope they prove everyone wrong. I dont want to look ahead but ive said all year that if Wexofrd get Cork in the championship there will only be one winner and thats Wexford. Cork wont deal with us, they arent used to being pushed around.

When Limerick played with a sweeper they were totally dominanted by Clare. I wonder should Davy go without he sweeper this weekend for patches of the game. Waterford had a sweeper and they demolished them aswel. We came out against Kilkenny without a sweeper for the first 10 - 15 minutes.

Clare have named Tony Kelly centre forward. So on paper OHanlon will be marking him. Someone will come out to man mark him im sure and i have a feeling it will be Reck. Which leave us with Ohanlon taken out of centre back. Im hoping he doesn't get dragged around the field. Reidy and Duggan would have a field day on him i think.

looking at a map of the pairc ui chaoimh area on gogole maps,if they built a bridge across the river at the ground,a huge area of cork city opens up for parking and would make getting to the ground much easier.

Me nerves are kicking in! I don't want tomorrow to be our last game of the year. Semi-finals in Croker would be amazing and the lads can do it if they are on form. Hope to see loads on the road..... Loch Garman abú

Massive game tomorrow . Will define Davis reign. Hurl like the first half against Kilkenny we're in with a great shout . Hopefully we have a decent crowd travelling . A lot of people I have spoke to aren't traveling due to work commitments/ distance to travel to Cork. That aside the game is the only thing that matters tomorrow . It's time for this team to stand up and be counted. Hopefully by 5 o clock tomorrow we'll be looking forward to a trip to Croker for an All Ireland semi final!!

Best of luck to the lads today, as people have said, it all or nothing, 4 quarter final in 5 years and not one win.07 sense the last all Ireland semi final apperance. We badly need this one and I think he could define Davy reign.win and we have defo made progress, lose and it hard to say we have. But names need to perform today. Here hoping. Up wexford

I'd like to think there will be one day where we will click and everything will come together. The wides will go over and the breaks will go our way. And all our big players will turn up.

Let's hope it's today
