I wouldn't be too harsh on any player, form can sometimes be a tricky thing. As in all of a sudden things are not going for you. Chin is a marked man too, its well flagged at this stage how he plays the game, same with Conor Mac. Lets not forget Chin is joint captain with O'Hanlon so he is required to do media work. If its not Chin talking in the papers it would be one of the other players.

form can be a fickle thing, but so far this week i have read what chin eats, what chin thinks of westmeath, there were at least another 2.
if he was hurling well i would say 'work away' but he has had a very poor year thus far.
i dont criticise players easily, and seldom, but enough is enough of somebody.

So what?

Best of luck to him.

The players by and large at the moment are the only ones not making money off the efforts they put in, even the bloody hot dog sellers make money off the exploits of our players up and down the country.

If Chin or anyone for that matter can use his profile to make a few bob out of it along the way then best of luck to him.

Dont get why people have such and issue with it, dont want to read about him then dont but obviously theres an interest in him otherwise he wouldnt be getting these gigs in the first place.

The media need to be fed some sort of news from the Wexford camp and it looks like chin is the person who is taking on that role or at least more than his fair share.

If you dont have one person or a few that interact with the media, then the media can make that the story or even take a spin on your team that could be negative ie Jim Gavin, michael ryan etc.

I would not be giving Chin a hard time over something which is now obligatory for all inter county teams.

Im sick of this nonsense. Same as last time Chin, along with Ciaran Kilkenny, were required by Sure as their ambassadors to do a bit of promoting for the GAA, for whom Sure are the statistics and analysis sponsors or promoters or something like that. This is the lads means of earning a few bob. Like you pull pints. Get down off his back bet Kilkenny doesn't get this stick from the Dubs......

Surprised if he joins the panel this year but very good chance he'll be involved next year has had a good 2 or 3 years for oilgate too, in fairness going on the performance of Wednesday night there's plenty on the u21 team worth considering for senior panel

Interesting to see if reck, firman and Rory will all start Saturday, it's not davys way to hold lads back paudie Foley played the 70 mins against clare in the league the day after the Fitzgibbon final. Once there not injured ( alot of lads will pulling up with cramp Wednesday night) all 3 could easily start. If so I'd substitute all 3 once were in a comfortable position

I agree 100%. We need our strongest team out on the pitch from the start. Then rest lads if we have the oppurtunity to later in the match. Our track record down the years for slipping on banana skins is unrivalled!!!

I'd give lads who've been busting a gut all year a run out to give panel a lift and I wouldn't bother with a sweeper either

O Leary
Devereux Ryan firman
Maddock Hanlon Foley
Nolan E Martin
Dunne chin Kehoe
Dunbar MAC Morris

Still a strong team. Not weakened much. Will still beat Westmeath handy. Bring on other panel players when we get out of reach

What do we reckon folks?
I'm thinking somewhere between 15-25 point victory on Saturday evening.

That was brutal this evening, made Westmeath look competitive. They play like that against Clare and it will be a bloodbath

Anyone worried about the Clare game following the performance against Westmeath? I thought we were very poor today. Our delivery into the forwards was once again shocking. They need to stop running into cul de sacs especially Jacko. Their players running off the shoulder and he constantly runs into the tackler. Not looking great heading into the QF next weekend.

Very poor game plan last night, restricts free flowing scores and allows mistakes for other team to score, as for side line bslls????

Starting to get really worried about nect week. I thought by what Davy has been saying that weeould be geared up to go again after a month off. We should he at peak fitness again and our hirling should be sharp. If what people are saying is true then we could be in for an awful beating Next weekend.

Whats more worrying is that we havent been able to put together a complete 70 minute performance since we beat kilkenny last year. The performance needs to come next weekend.

Wexford got what they wanted out of the game,; a comfortable win, no red cards and hopefully no injuries, although Paul Morris was walking very gingerly coming off. Whatever Davy may have up his sleeve he wasn't going to put it on display last night.
