While soccer's Nations League idea released this week seems quite convoluted, there are some aspects that might work well in the GAA Championship. For example, the 4-team playoff in each of Leagues A, B, C and D could be applied to the NFL respective divisions. Allowing 4 division champs, incl div 4, to join Muns and Conn champs and Lein and Uls finalists in an AI KO Rd of 16 (incl div 1 playoff for 4 non Prov qualifiers) might be an incentive for minnows as well as the estabished counties.
